Day #958 - Icemaster, plus Makkari (Archive Day #275)

Alistar Smythe is Archive Day #276 and was Boy Wonder's first Guest Star pick.

Absolutely in on both characters today. 

I love so many of the Hostess villains, and would kill to have figures of them. And I’m always up for more comic Kirby Eternals. Ikaris showed us how nice those designs look in figure form. 

Icemaster would be fun!

Makkari would be a sale only.

Icemaster looks great even though I don't remember him from the Hostess days.   Still a good looking character for a figure.

Makkari is an easy yes, and in one of those rare instances I would be down for almost any look as a figure.   Although my favourites would be original Kirby look, 80s/90s look (Quasar cover) and modern day update to his classic look.   

That foreground costume in the last pic is terrible.  I don't know what that is but it isn't Makkari in my book.   Her other looks are much better.

Both would be cool, especially 80s handbook Makkari. 🙂

Yes to both! Icemaster is one of the few (maybe only?) villains created for the Hostess ads who actually graduated to the main 616 universe.

Nico Minoru is my favorite member of Runaways. I’m happy to already have a figure of her. If Hasbro made an updated figure of her, I’d get that as well. 

Yes to the armored comic looks for Makkari. I always thought he had one of the more interesting looks for the Eternals. Classic suit or that streamlined armor style running suit. 

Another hardy ‘Yes’ to both.  I have a fondness for many of the Hostess characters, and some had some fun designs.  Icemaster was the second one brought into the mainstream Marvel Universe, and the first to make an actual appearance.  (Anyone remember who the first Hostess character to be brought in was? And bonus if you remember where).  Icemaster should be an easy reuse, so there’s another plus.  So a big chilly Yes.

Makkari is another yes.  Classic Kirby design, or the update as he appears on the Quasar cover.  Wouldn’t mind the Monster Hunter version, or even the Major Mercury (First Line) version either.

Yes to Makkari, so Ikaris isn't lonely. Pass on Icemaster and the Runaways.

Day #959 - Tha-Korr, plus The Twelve (Archive Day #278)

I don't comment much but The Twelve would be Day 1 instant purchase. I loved that maxi-series and we need more 1940's characters.

Ironically Tha-Korr was created in 1939. He was a random shoebox pick! Today is classic Timely Day!
