Wrapping up my SDCC Guest Stars with Dan A/"Other Dan"!
Day #953 - Monday Spotlight on Dan A's pick - FULLY ARTICULATED Jeff the Baby Land Shark
I don't know his last name, and all the panel videos are too muffled to make it out. So, if any of our Hasbro guys read this, please apologize to Dan A for me. He was a really nice guy to chat with.
If anybody can pass along his last name, that would be great. I'll gladly edit this post.
I feel terrible that I didn't listen closely enough to remember (other) Dan's last name now. Also, I feel like the Jeff the land shark pvc companion we got might be all the Jeff we need? IDK... the G.I. Joe team are doing a ton of articulated animal companions so, I guess why not. But I'd hate for Jeff to take up a whole figure slot.
Sorry, Danno. Pass for me.
I'm happy with the pack-in we got. Unless he's grown, he's too small for any useful articulation.
He'd be a fun pack in with another wanted figure. On his own it would be a pass.
I'm good with the pack-in we have.
An articulated Jeff the Shark would be cool. He's a fun character.
I think that I'm ok with the pack-in version we already have. I'd likely buy an articulated version, but don't need it.
Sorry Jeff but you are a pass. The pack in was more than enough in my books.
Articulated Jeff in a pack with Throg, Lucky, Ms. Lion, etc. would be great.
eh... I'm gonna pass on both. Sidewinder on discount would work.
Man... and to think I used to respect TFitz.
Sidewinder has likely entered my Top 10 most wanted figure list now that Crystal, Lockjaw and Destiny are on their way. Considering they have now confirmed that Giancarlo Esposito is playing Sidewinder in the MCU I am hopeful this will up the profile of the character enough that a comic based figure will become more likely. It worked for Gor after Christian Bale played him. So, for sure, huge yes for Sidewinder. And more of his Serpent Society homies as well.
As for Gog... he's sort of a generic monster/dino dude. I wouldn't pass him by if he were made into a figure. He would make a pretty cool display piece. But his big and there are alot of oversized characters I would like to see make it into the line before they got around to something like this.
No to Gog.
Sidewinder, on the other hand, is in my top ten most wanted. I even own commissioned art of this guy, so it's safe to say I'm in the bag for ol' sibilant Seth.
Heck yeah, to Sidewinder. With his upcoming big screen debut, he’s moved up to a more likely character to be done. Let’s hope so. Keep pushing out the Serpent Society, Hasbro.
Gog might make for a cool BAF in a strong wave.I don’t think he has notoriety to move in high volume as a deluxe or single oversized release.
