Yes to all the comic offerings today, with an emphasis on the Quincy McIver Bushmaster. In addition to being a much-wanted member of the Serpent Society he would just be an impressive figure on the shelf.

I don't mean to Hassle the Hoff, but pass on him. Marrow I'd consider. I'd hope she gets two portraits, so you can have the original very Morlock-y face and the later version where they pretty her up because she becomes a recurring team member. Most folks would want that second portrait but I prefer the Morlock look.

Cosign on all of this. Morlocks' whole thing is having mutations too apparent to 'pass' so I think you need to lean into the body horror of having bones asymmetrically protruding from her skin, out-of-control skeletal structure dictating her portrait, etc. But I would also want the majority to get what they want in the prettier MvC portrait.

Day #922 - Saturday Spotlight on Shogun Warriors!

Dr. Demonicus was Archive Day #32, but I'm featuring him again because he looks so cool and is so incredibly toyetic.

Raydeen/Richard Carson

Dangard Ace/Ilonggo Savage

Combatra/Genji Odashu

Doctor Tambura

Cerberus

Doctor Demonicus

Lord Maur-Kon

Hand of Five

Rok Korr

I'd be in for all of those, especially Dr. Demonicus. The rights issues mean the main Shoguns could probably never happen but I wouldn't mind getting Carson, Savage, and Odashu in their pilot uniforms.

I recently read the whole series and while it certainly isn't great, there's something fun and nostalgic about it. They would be fun figures!

As much as getting new toys of the Shogun Warriors would tickle my inner child pink, I can't think of a way to do them and do them right in today's marketplace that wouldn't cost a fortune. They could certainly do smaller, ML-sized figures of them, but them being GIANT is half their appeal.

I'd be all-in for a Doctor Demonicus figure. He played a sizeable role in later West Coast Avengers (Pacific Overlords), and thus is a necessity.

Not in for any of the monsters.

Big Yes to Dr Demonicus with masked and unmasked heads!  His henchmen would be cool too.

id be cool with the Shogun Warriors, if Hasbro could find a way to pull them off well, at a scale that would do them justice.

ML/BAF sized Shogun Warriors would be neat.  Making giant 50s era Marvel monsters for them to fight in that size would also be neat.  Obviously, they can't make these characters to scale with normal ML, but they could be in scale with each other.

I really want a Red Ronin figure.  Not sure if he's ever been offered up in this thread.  I know he wouldn't even be popular enough to have a successful Haslab (although I wish he would).  But an action figure size one would be cool.  And if they made ~7" monsters (like Fin Fang Foom, Galactus, Celestials), it could be a cool subline of ML figures.  Oversized figures which can interact with each other.

Red Ronin has been in the magical mystical shoebox since day #1! There's about 10 characters left that have been there since the beginning that have escaped my clutches... so far...

That's a brilliant idea! A subline of 7-12" tall "giant" figures (maybe with miniature Iron Man/FF/etc figures?) would be amazing. Space is a at a premium so I would rather have a shelf with that set-up than a 4' tall Celestial with no place to go.

I would be down for faithful re-releases, or updated releases of the original giant toys.   However I don't see Hasbro ever getting the rights to them, or a ML release of some kind.  Which honestly I am okay with since I don't think they could do justice to the toys in the ML scale.

Plus Soul Of Chogokin already did them, some of which are almost 20 years old now, and they are still pretty damn amazing, and near perfect....plus diecast to boot!!!!  Granted they were nowhere near as big as the old 70s toys, but it doesn't matter to me.  So anything trying to compete with that is going to have a high bar to reach.

Dr. Demonicus is not someone I am dying to get as a figure, but he is just so damn toyetic that I couldn't resist if he got a release.

Man the Shogun Warriors bring back some memories.  My cousin had at least one of them.  When we visited him in Indiana, it was always amazing to see the great things he had.  I had 2 brothers to share space with, so we never had any larger toys like that.

While I'd love to have the Shogun Warriors, I just don't have the room.  What little room I do have has to go to the bigger characters that I really love from Marvel.  Galactus, Sentinel, Giant Man, Surtur, etc..

Doctor Demonicus would make a fantastic legend.

Pass on the monsters and human characters.

I still have my 70s childhood Mazinga. Missing a few missiles but otherwise not too beat up.
