Orrgo is such a fun design. It seems like an impossibility that we'd ever get him in the larger building-sizes pictured above, but I can absolutely seem him as a 8-9" BAF one of these days! I'd be happy to get him however he comes.

Calypso has got to come sooner or later. Fun design, notable character, and a prominent enough member of Spidey's rogues. Costume might end up being toned down from some of those images, but I bet we get her eventually.

Agreed about getting Hellspawn! A cool demon-Daredevil - what's not to love?!

And just so no one gets the wrong idea, let me say that I love the Marvel movies and TV shows.  (Yes, even the Eternals).  I love them.  I've seen all the movies on opening night and usually go back to see them two, three or even four times.  Hell, I saw Endgame 9 times during it's run.  I subscribe to Disney Plus specifically for Marvel.

I never got that idea, but I'm always glad to hear another person enjoyed Eternals! Now there's over four of us!

Don't let my disappointment with not getting an Invaders boxed set because of the Movies give you the wrong impression.  I love Marvel Studios.  I feel bad for Hasbro because they've got to play both sides of the fence and it's a tough balancing act.  Both the comics and the movies have very strong, passionate fan bases.  And they're both a very vocal bunch.

And again, I didn't get that idea, but can only speak for myself. But I really don't see this line as 'this or that'. When I see a full comic wave, I don't spend time lamenting the movie figures that could have been. Especially this year! Heh. And if you look at something like the Secret Wars wave, I'm pretty excited for the possibilities there despite a 1% chance I'll buy anything from it.

You're right, both sides are very vocal, and I think both sides tend to take out frustration on each other and take things personally. I've definitely been guilty of it plenty of times. I can appreciate the comic figures the same way I appreciate Joes and Transformers. it's something I'm not actively collecting, but really enjoy seeing what they put out anyway.

@ru1977, I love ya, buddy.  I know times have been rough for you this year because of the strikes.  But to quote Loki in Infinity War: "I assure you, brother, the sun will shine on us again.”

And I sure hope you're able to make it to San Diego next summer.  I want to see Fantastic Four with you down in Mission Valley.

Hang in there!

Same here, and I'm sure you're right. I've enjoyed the shows and movies more than most, but they did finally break me out of the 'gotta see everything' mindset at least. I still don't feel they were doing too many releases, unless it meant they were stretched too thing. I honestly don't see why that has to be an issue though, since movie studios have been releasing dozens of projects a year for decades. but I guess maybe Kevin Feige is like Bilbo at his eleventy-first birthday, butter scraped over too much bread. I could see Daredevil and Deadpool being a good, fresh start though.

And I'm broaching SDCC2025 now with the family, but yeah if nothing else I can come down for a day in Mission Valley.

And I really hope they get that Invaders set out. It makes way too much sense, and @beamish made some excellent points. Yeah, maybe too optimistic but still perfectly sensible.

Weekend catchup

Movie X-Men:   Hard pass on all of them.   Big no thanks there.

Lash:   Can’t say he made a huge impression on me ever -  didn’t read the Inhuman book he was apparently featured in and let’s be honest -  we’re never getting any figures from the  Marvel TV attempts at Inhumans -  ever.      I suppose if he showed up in a wave,  I’d probably pick him up, because ‘hey, new character in the line’…. But I can’t advocate for his inclusion.

Hammond Human Torch and Toro are musts and long overdue.     Honestly I want a powered up original Human Torch and Toro for an Invaders display -  but I also want a ‘flame off’  version of Hammond in his red jump suit that Byrne had him in during West Coast Avengers and Namor.         Give me all of that please.

Orrgo is a pass.    He’d be fun in a kitschy sort of way -   but I don’t need to spend $100 on something for a goof.

Calypso on the other hand is a needed Spidey/Daredevil adversary who has received short shrift so far simply because of their aversion to too many female figures.    Still she is very much needed for the shelf and I hope they make her eventually.

Oooh, strong selection today. Calypso would be a great pick for the Spidey shelf and I’m 110% in for any and all giant monsters that Hasbro wants to throw my way. He’ll never happen, but I’d love it if he did.

Not dying for Orrgo but a big classic monster would be fun and I'd probably pick him up.

Definitely yes to Calypso, preferably something like images 2-5

Orrgo is neat, and classic monsters are fun, but no need for him.

Calypso in her classic look is great and I would be good with that version.   Don't know if she is popular enough to warrant a release, but should get one.

Orrgo would be a pass. I wouldn’t have room for something that big.

Calypso would be a yes, but I’d imagine them releasing her in the more tame version of her outfit. If we can’t get Moondragon’s classic duds, we’re certainly not getting hers.

Orrgo is cool!  But there are a few other larger characters I'd rather have first.  Surtur, Foom, and Terminus are all higher on my list.

Would love a classic Calypso, but doubt Hasbro will go there.

Corruptor is definitely on my wanted villains list! I'd be happy with him in his classic look on the jumpsuit body from Red Skull.

I'm not very familiar with the Aeros, but the first one has a cool look and the Guthries are mutant royalty. Wouldn't be mad if either got made.

I would like all of them, especially a classic costume Corruptor. 😀 Preferably the first pic.

Yes,  Yes, and yes  today.

Classic Corruptor would be a great villain to add to the shelf.    Probably pretty easy to cobble together with existing parts.

Not going to lie, I do wish the two different Aero's had different names -  but I wouldn't mind figures of both.

Corrupter is a definite must have. Aero (any version) is/are pass(es).
