Not dying for either one but would probably pick up both. A Millie/Hedy/Patsy Walker set would actually be kinda cool ha ha

Welcome back, Beamish! I missed the One-a-Days greatly and I'm glad you're picking it right back up.

Yes to both Spider-Boy and Millie. I'll admit I haven't ever actually *read* a Millie the Model comic, but I know her place in the history and a figure would be just the thing to make me educate myself. And Spider-Boy would just be a ton of fun!

Neither of these are ones Im clamoring for, but…

Spider-boy, I think is matter of when, not if.  I think he’ll be made eventually.

Millie, I’d be very skeptical about actually seeing in the line.  That said, I’d buy her.

oh. And welcome back one and all.

I really missed this thread Beamish.  Thank you so much for all the work you put in to do it.

As for today's choices, both would be a pass for me.

I'll pass on Spider-Boy.   I really want to like the character, but I just can't.  I don't know why he doesn't resonate with me but I am good without him as a figure.  Maybe too much of a Jimmy Olsen with powers type of deal?  Now Madame Monstrosity and her humanimal crew, especially Hellifino are another story.

Oh and just in case you don't know who/what they are, Madame Monstrosity is the woman who apparently created Spider Boy.  Her Humanimals are humans crossed with different animals ala "The Fly" movie.  However she has a sort of Bride of Frankenstein/Victorian Era/Steam Punk look, and her Humanimals are very much similar to The High Evolunationary's creations.  She even did her work to get his attention (it didn't go as she planned when she finally met him).

Hellifino is the one character who is a cross with two animals (elephant and rhino).   His name is a terrible pun that is one of those "so bad it's almost good" type of deals.  The comic explains it with a scene where Spider Boy is fighting him and you find out they were friends when Madame Monstrosity changed them and Hellifino blames Spider Boy (of course) for his situation.  Anyway the whole joke comes down to banter leading to his Humanimal name because there was something going on where he doesn't know the answer (Hell If I Know) ugh.....

Millie The Model is an important part of Marvel History, but not important today.  No interest in her as a figure.

Pass on Spider-Boy. That's not the Spider-Boy I want a figure of by any means.

I'd pick up Millie, especially if it meant a Patsy Walker at some point.

OK....  gotta jump to the archive character first

Absolutely and desperately want an original costume Moonstone.    I HATE that they've released Moonstone twice and both times it was in the same modern white costume without the helmet.    I NEED the yellow costume with silver helmet on my shelf.

I also really, really want Karla in her Meteorite outfit to add to my Thunderbolts display.

So I am in dire need of two more versions of Karla Sofen minimum.

As for Growing Man - sure.   If they made him I would definitely buy him.     There are a bunch of other oversized characters I'd rather have first  (Atlas,  Goliath (the bad guy), Black Goliath, Living Monolith,  Clint Barton Goliath, you get the idea) -  but Growing Man would be welcome on the shelf if Marvel decided to do him.

Absolutely "IN!" for both Growing Man and Karla. For Karla, I want her in her classic Moonstone outfit most, followed by her Meteorite getup. No real desire for any of her other costumes, which means they'll be the ones Hasbro does first and keep the much-desired classic look close to their vest.

Yes to classic versions of both, especially classic costume Moonstone.

I love love love Growing Man's weird perpetual crying baby face. When they make a figure it needs that exact expression. Also I hope they include a mini-version if they ever get to him.

Classic Moonstone is starting to edge into "I still can't believe they haven't gotten to this" territory for me. I also can't believe that there are three versions of Karla Sofen I'm pretty eager to get (classic, Meteorite, Dark Ms Marvel) but here we are! I hope the inevitable Dark Ms Marvel includes an extra head for the Superia version:

I would get a Karla as Dark Ms. Marvel, even if they cover her legs or whatever. I know that was a controversy here before, but wouldn't bother me. But I agree that she's a "I can't believe they haven't made one already" figure. I'd appreciate if they did new versions of Dark Wolverine and Dark Hawkeye as well.

Certainly.

a classic purple and orange Growing Man would be fine.  As others have said, there are other growing characters I’d rather see first, but I wouldn’t say ‘no’ to a Growing Man.

Classic Moonstone and original appearance Meteorite are definite wants.  And I want them sculpted and not phoned in.  The original Meteorite costume is an “I dare you to make this” costume right up there with classic Jack of Hearts and classic Captain Ultra, but I still want all of those made.
