I'd buy NFL Superpro just for the sheer ridiculous novelty of it.

I don't want them to start making any New Universe figures because I know I'd probably break down and start collecting them. And who's got the money and space for that???

While NFL SuperPro would be a fun novelty character, I’m not certain Marvel has the licensing to use ‘NFL’ anymore.  It might be simply “SuperPro”.  He’d be a character that I’d probably wait for clearance on.

His rogues don’t terribly inspire me either.  Maybe I put a couple of them in a three pack with Pro.  Even then, sales might be questionable.

Kickers would be a pass for me.  I wouldn’t mind some New Universe representation, but I’d rather see some of the more colorful characters and designs.  Starbrand, Nightmask, Spitfire, Justice, DP 7 etc.

I have no connection/knowledge of any of the X-men 2099 characters.  Some of the designs are cool though.  So it would depend on who was made and if I found any at retail.  Otherwise I'd pass.

NFL SuperPro would be a pick up for the shear fun of a goofy character like that.  Pass on the other stuff.

Kickers Inc. would be an easy pass.  Although I could probably see myself getting All American and Brick on sale.

SuperPro is one of those characters I would hate myself for buying, but would still buy anyway.  Also I am surprised by his rogues gallery.  There are some pretty neat looking characters in there along with the duds.

Would Hasbro release a figure called Suicide?

I would absolutely be an enthusiastic YES for NFL Superpro. Just for the sheer novelty if for no other reason.

As others have said, NFL SuperPro would be a purchase for the goofiness.

Little weekend catch up:

X-Men 2099

Was just discussing these guys in another thread and the answer is a huge yes from me.    I actually really enjoyed several of the 2099 titles,  X-Men being one of them.   I’d take figures of the entire team for sure, including those that didn’t get figures in the 5” line –  Krystalin, Serpentina, Cerebra, Sham and Desert Ghost.      I also wouldn’t be opposed to figures of other 2099 peeps pictured like   Halloween Jack, Quiver, Contagion,  Breakdown,  Psyklone, Tantrum,  Mongrel and Brimstone Love.

If these were coming I’d also want to round out the 2099 collection with at least Doom 2099, Hulk 2099 and maybe Ravage and Punisher -  Fantastic Four 2099 can remain forgotten though.

Kickers Inc and Super Pro

Pass on that.   I was never a big New Universe guy at all and Kickers Inc was the least interesting of that entire line of books.   It ran for 12 issues and had 8 different writers and 6 different artists…. What?   There was a reason that book sucked and it was partly due to a bad idea to start with and worsened by constant creator turnover.   The costume designs for the characters are bland and uninteresting and would make for boing action figures.   So,  big no thanks there.

And Super Pro was always a goofy idea with fairly goofy execution.   I’d still be more likely to buy a figure of Super Pro than of the Kickers Inc crew though.

Night Flyer is another character I don’t need in figure form.   Honestly the design is a little boring and the concept is ridiculous.   What if there was a super-character that used a hang glider?   Super lame.

Warriors Three on the other hand are much needed and sorely missed in my collection.   I want all three of them, please and thank you.   I’d also like a Baldur if we’re handing out Asgardians here.    I know -  put the Warriors Three in an Amazon 5 pack with Thor and a comic Hela.     That would allow for some re-use so the budget could be devoted to Volstagg primarily.     I would love to eventually get these guys in my collection though.

The lack of Warriors Three is appalling.

Lol Of course the Warriors Three is a yes, as they represent a gaping hole in my collection. Surely Hasbro knows that many collectors have asked for them. I suppose Hasbro’s Legends team isn’t convinced there is enough brand knowledge for them to make three largely unique molds.

Like others mentioned, the Warriors Three are so overdue that it's laughable. I just hope we get comic versions.
