Blazing Skull.  Definitely would want the classic look with a removable cape.  Modern toy technology should be able to do this character justice in figure form.

I agree, but something about the design also recalls DC’s Checkmate (mostly the golden mask). Neither evocation is a bad thing. If Habro made an Ian-Nomad, despite wanting 90’s hair-band reject Jack Monroe more, I’d buy it because it looks cool (3rd illustration).

Day #793 - The Nameless One, plus Lockjaw (Archive Day #126)

Tiger Shark possessed by The Nameless One

OK Hasbro - where are they?

Did Lockjaw have a puppy? When did this happen?

YES.

OG Defenders fan here (love the other iterations as well, but the OG is unstoppable – any team where Namor is technically the weakest member is a team of true heavyweights), so making a Nameless One would make me quite happy.

And, c’mon Hasbro. For years fans have clamored for Lockjaw and the Royal family. “Make it so…” I’m a Jean Luc fan also…

Isn't it the case that Lockjaw to the Inhumans isn't what we as humans would consider a dog? Lockjaw is just another Inhuman, according to something I read. I don't know what his form was before going through Terrigenesis. Either way, I've been wanting a figure of Lockjaw for so very long. Crystal is easy enough and I'm sure she'll eventually be made, but Lockjaw almost seems less likely the longer it takes.

It depends on the writer.  I believe originally Lockjaw was an Inhuman (or whatever pre-Inhuman before) and changed like the rest of them.  So supposedly he was another Inhuman in the form of a "dog."

Over time that has slowly changed to him being an Inhuman version of a dog.

I kind of prefer the original origin because it kind of puts the Inhumans in a bad light that they mostly treat him as a dog now rather than a fellow Inhuman with his own agency.

Anyway for today:

The Nameless One.  Not a fan of the design, though a two-headed Tiger Shark is kind of intriguing.  Probably would pass.

Lockjaw.  Like Crystal I don't know why he hasn't been done in ML yet.  Definitely a big missing piece.

Lockjaw is a Yes, even though I’m content with the one that came with the SDCC set a number years back.

Yes to both, but I'm not sure how they could even engineer a figure of the Nameless One. It would be cool though!

Lockjaw is so overdue. However with that being said I'm glad that I broke down and bought the Mezco version as I doubt the eventual Hasbro version will top that (although I'll probably still buy it). That Lockjaw/Black Bolt combo is still the only Mezco 1:12 figure that I've ever bought and I'm very happy with that purchase.

I have the Lockjaw from that Marvel Universe 1/18th scale SDCC set also, but never displayed it with my Legends although I did use the Cosmo from that same set for years until we got the MCU BAF version last year. I still have that absurdly undersized Moon Boy riding a Target exclusive red Jurassic World T-Rex as my stand-in for Devil Dino / Moon Boy in the background of my display currently.

Can we please just get the rest of the Inhumans already? I loved the Karnak figure last year. He was in my top 10 figures of the year. Triton is my next biggest want personally, but I know that most people want Crystal the most. Gorgon and Maximus would be great also to round it out!

Inhumans literally had a slave class of beings under them.

the issue with a Maximus figure is he doesn't really have a single look that says "Maximus". I guess the green and black insane Kirby look (when in doubt always go with the insane Kirby look) but that's a lot of tooling.

I've been avoiding commenting on this thread for a while, as I am trying to reduce my Legends to stick with more of the A and B list - so not a lot new I truly need at this point and didn't want to spam with no thanks for so many characters.

But gotta support Lockjaw.

Both of these would require some or all new tooling.  Nameless One is an interesting look, but wouldn’t sell on their own.  Would have to be a BAF, and I’m not sure how much of an incentive it would be.  I’d probably pass.

Lockjaw?   Are you kidding?  There’s absolutely no demand for him.  Who would buy him?  I mean, Lockjaw?   Really?

I’m just kidding.  He’s been highly demanded.  I would probably get him.  Get on it Hasbro.

@beamish So when people advocate for the HasLabs to be multi-figure boxsets, I tend to scoff, but the idea of a collection of all 37 Celestials you listed, each about 4 ft tall, is genius.

Sure, some might complain about not having the display space, others might balk at the price because they are just cheap and are unhappy with themselves, but say they keep it to something reasonable like $22,500 a set, I think it would work - as long as the bonus tiers were good of course. Maybe Air Walker at 10,000 sets?

I would pass on the Nameless One.

Lockjaw is a huge want.  Put him in a 2pk with the yellow/black Crystal.  Sold!
