Here's how MrBo overcharged himself $1 at Target today. Exactly two weeks ago I had a canceled store pick up order on the Hulkbuster. Today they had one on the shelf. I brought it up to a cashiered register because I didn't think it would scan at the sale price. As I thought, it comes up $59.99 and I ask the cashier if he could match target.com. He can't get it to scan with his handheld, so I say it's $42.99 and he punches in the price. I was his last customer, I could've said anything at that point, but I end up saying $42.99, $1 more than the actual sale price.
Why does Target do this anyways? It seems like they're screwing customers who aren't aware of an online sale.

Patience paid off. Got the Zabu wave for a much better price. Only paid full price for Cable on preorder and Red Widow just now.
Seems odd that Red widow would be the only one still available that was not on sale. I would have thought that Wolfsbane would have been in much higer demand, an established X-character that was needed to complete a team. Odd.
Amazon got Red Widow earlier than the rest so maybe their inventory level is different? She's the last one I'm still trying to snag for a really good sale price, too.

Sadly and strangely, Wolfsbane is the one I see peg warming. I see her often in multiples at GameStop and Macys TRU.
Who knows? When I checked Amazon later in the afternoon, Wolfsbane was the only one still on deal.
Maybe the fact that she looks a bit like a Cheeto has something to do with it. Hasbro needs to get the colors right.
Yeah, as bad as I want a new Wolfsbane, this is not what I want and I'm gonna wait it out. I honestly prefer the old Toy Biz New Mutants figure to what they gave us.
