Phoenix has been going in and out of stock for the past two hours at Target. Managed to get an order in with Hulkbuster bringing her price down to around $28. Not as good as that $17 steal of a price from earlier in the week, but still SO much better than Amazon's $52.
I bet she opens up for shipping at Target for at least a few hours at some point, maybe a few days. Although I think enough people are aware of the screwed-up Target MSRP now that I doubt she'll ever be available for more than a few hours even once Target has all they ordered in their warehouse.
I was able to snag a Phoenix in person today. Couldn’t find another item to bring the total past $40, so I bought her solo at $35 and immediately returned her to the Amazon Fresh in town.
I did that the other day - needed to return something to Walmart but stopped at Target on the way and found a GI Joe Jinx - and just also returned it to Walmart instead of returning the one I already had on my next visit.
Feels a little bit bad but also super convenient!
@schizm It's the exact same figure. It's resellable. It's Walmart. Don't feel bad.
Hahaha, I meant feeling bad for Jinx. 🙂
Rebuying things from Target this week that I’d either bought at Target or Amazon in the last couple months really put a lot back in my pocket between the random 30% offs, Phoenix price error, clearance finds from the reset, $20 off $75, and $15 circle rewards for $150.
Gotta be the best week of deals I’ve seen in a long time. The Joes and ML have been a real budget hog lately.
Yeah, no doubt on the Target sale. Came at a great time with so much new Marvel Legends, Star Wars and Joe stuff hitting. And I feel your pain.
Adding to that pain, I found the new Action Marine and HALO Jumper yesterday. Had to grab a random $5.99 die-cast car but it all came out to $57-something with the Target card. Much better than $70-plus for the two Joes — which are both really, really great. I'll return the car at some point.
Wish I hadn't picked up Ghost Rider from Pulse. Actually saw a couple in store while the sale was going on. Would've definitely have picked one up and returned it to Amazon had I bought it there.
I was in Ollie's today Googling the code names on unopened Hasbro cases. Figured it was better than personally popping them open or unstacking boxes. Just various solids of Hydra Stomper and Choose waves that have already been talked about here. I wanted a Rogers and couldn't find him. Left with Yelena and BBQ Snyder's pretzels for the ride home.
^^^That's the Cho wave I'm talking about. I can't seem to edit but at least the board is mostly working.
Warbird seems to be making an appearance again at Targets.
On Tuesday I saw it a few times on the app for local pick up so I called and they didn't have any on the floor but I talked to someone in the Toy dept to see if they could tell me if they had any on order and they clarified a few were already in back as a large shipment of toys came in. They could see they had ordered some as well and when they were due to be put out.
Later on this week I saw more at a couple different stores and was able to secure a store pick up. Was able to take advantage of the sale on them too. So they should be coming.
Phoenix is back to being 25$. Several other figures (Warbird, Wolverine) are 17.49$.
^ I can't even see Phoenix or Warbird on the Target website! I never have. What are you all using in the search bar?
@lex_dysic Usually the best way on Target is to use their "filter" and select sold by Target and Include Out O Stock
Jean is back to being on clearance. You know, because she sells so poorly they can't keep her in stock. Makes sense to me! 🙄
How is it that the sale evaporates the day before I find Phoenix in person, then sale reappears two days after I’ve purchased her?
