@mr-potatohead  I mean yeah the web listings are almost entirely useless for toy drops at Target in general.  It's always been that way; you gotta go into stores to find new toy releases.

But anything can be moved to ISPU when they so choose.  Like any major release that has more than a couple misc. units.  Anything that gets delivered by the caseload.  NECA Haulathon. any of that stuff from the Collector corner almost always goes 'live' at some point.  often a couple days after its initial release.  You have to keep checking repeatedly.

Target chat bargained my $13.80 price match request down to $8.50.  My two preordered wrestlers arrived yesterday.  They were part of the 10/6 street date and were also on sale for $6.90 off each figure.  At first he wasn't going to match because he saw the date I preordered in July. Then he offered $8.50 after I pointed out they arrived yesterday.  I probably could've done a return and rebuy at the CS desk in store, but figured this was easier. My time is worth more than money 😆!!!

One of the figures was incorrectly priced anyways.  He should've been $32.99, not the currently priced $22.99.  Taking an extra $4.25 of the wrong price wasn't too bad.

A Target about 40 minutes away from me is showing 4 Phoenix figures "in stock" with the "pick up" option listed as "not available for this item". Wondering if it's worth the risk to drive all that way on a wing and a prayer.

absolutely not.

That's what we've been talking about on here.  The game has changed.  They are showing up in store location inventories, but are unavailable, before the item gets scanned in or something.  Basically in-transit, or not yet unloaded.

I've had eight stores showing 2-3 unavailable for three days and none of those quantities are shifting.  They are not available on those store shelves, nor are they available for pickup.

All you can do is keep checking your local store shelves in-person and keep refreshing the listing maybe the button goes live.  Don't make the drive for 'not available for pickup' items.

Don't make that trip.  Give them a call and give them the DPCI and see what they say.

I called a store last night that said 3 in stock on the website and the worker told me they had none.  The website is not to be trusted.

If, by chance, you call and they say they have it, ask them if they can hold it for you.  Milage may vary by store and employee, but I've tried that once or twice in the past and it worked out for me.

One of the stores I was in today had figures on the pegs but none available on the website for that particular store.  Three different dpci numbers, each with multiple figures on the pegs.

Still can't seem to order Phoenix online, but she's back up to 35$. Warlord Prof.X is available on Walmart's site for 20$.

It's weird, all the action figure clearance prices are gone on the Target site, too. Tiger Paw, Roadblock, Tripwire TF set, Marvel Legends Warbird and the R4-D4 set are all back to full price. Good luck, Target. (Well, Warbird and Tiger Paw would sell if they ever put a decent quantity up ...)

35 is still better than the 52 I paid at Amazon and Pulse. Gonna keep trying to find her at Target.

Yeah, after remembering I already tried that with the Target down the street, I decided I probably wasn't going to try it again. As they say, the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.

Plus I really only wanted her if she was still on sale for $24. I'm actually pretty happy with the Juggernaut BAF Phoenix with the replacement head from the Cyclops / Dark Phoenix 2-pack. So I didn't really want to pay too much just for the base. Now that the Target sale seems to be over, I'll probably pass on her anyway.

Update on my Phoenix order that's ready for pick up a half hour away.  Getting out there any time before next Thursday may not be in the cards for me.  Without going into details no one cares about, I have something going on just about every day.  MAYBE Sunday?  I know you are able to extend your pick up window.  I guess we'll see by how much.  Minnesota teachers have next Thursday and Friday off.......

The $25 Target sale is off, BTW, it's back up to $35 until it goes back up to $50.

Now that I think about it my wife told me the girls wanted to give me a "surprise" birthday party on Friday and told me I needed to make myself invisible for about an hour after work, so that might be my window.  Hmmmmmm.......it might work out after all.

I'm no computer guy but I'm seeing a bunch of random characters on this site where words should be.  Does this mean we are all about to say goodbye again for an indefinite amount of time?

My wife wants me out of the house from 4:30 to 6:30 this afternoon, plenty of time to go get my Phoenix.  I should also be able to stop at gamestop at Mall of America and get a couple of Multiverse figures they say are in stock there.  Wish me luck.

If this is goodbye.......then goodbye!
