WTF...  I got the same thing.   I swear I got an error message on the site saying my order couldn't be processed because items in my cart had been sold.   So I bailed.

 

I go to my e-mail and there is an e-mail saying my order is in process and will ship shortly...   what?   

 

How can it be both?    Like,  I'm happy to be getting the sale items -  but that's a weird order processing system where instead of telling you your order has been successfully processed it tells you the items have been removed from your cart because they've been sold.    You didn't tell me they were sold to ME...

 

Anyway...

@bennroe Thanks, Benn! I've had several positive experiences with your business and am always excited for your sales. I had the same processing error and had a few items that I had to remove from my cart before I could put it though like others experienced above, but again appreciate you letting us know about your sales here on the TheFwoosh!

The local FB group had a pic of Outback Rogue on the shelves at Ollie's.  That's one I haven't seen yet, but was expecting to.

So, Have to say Im very frustrated with my Redcap's Corner experience.    After the weird checkout experience I just got an email from them saying they had to cancel my $5 Storm Shadow as part of my order but will process the rest - which was just a $10 Iron Man.    So they refunded the $5, but none of the $13.75 they charged for shipping.   

 

So instead of 2 figures for $29, Im getting one figure for $24.    Thats no longer a deal I even want.   I can buy the Iron Man locally for less than that.   I wouldnt have completed the purchase without the $5 Classified figure.     

 

I've asked them to just cancel the entire order.   Hopefully they will    If not its definitely my last time patronizing them..

@panthercult I hate when stores do that.  I bought a bunch of 1/6 scale sale parts for a kitbash. The store shipped without notifying me that one item was missing.  I got the package and surprise, the key item isn't in the box. There was a note on the packing list saying I was refunded.  The sale spurred me to buy the parts and I ended up having to buy the item from another store negating any savings.

An Amazon returns complaint.  Back in March, I returned a $60 figure to the Staples drop off.  A couple months later Amazon says I will be charged for the item if not returned 🙄 .  I chat with CS, they say not to worry, email sent in error.  Another month or so later, I get another email saying I have until August to return the item.  Again, chat says the email was sent in error.  Today, I get an email telling me my account has been charged.  Sure enough, my account has a pending charge. During this chat, the rep sent me an email confirming the amount will be returned.  We'll see.

I saw the Staples guy create a label and place it directly on the figure's package.  All the illegitimate returns Amazon processes but they're coming after me.

I received my full order of 19 items (for only $115!) from RedCaps Corner today in Iowa (Saturday) after ordering on Tuesday. Very happy with my experience as I have been each time I've worked with Benn. Thanks again, @bennroe!

I unfortunately had two of my four items from Redcap canceled several days after making the order. I get it, things happen! I do wish I'd known sooner though - there were a few things I was deciding between, and if I'd known my selections were out of stock I would have gone with my other choices.

Yeah, I had items cancelled today which is frustrating, especially after I checked in about exactly that on Thursday and was assured it was fine. Luckily, it was nothing major for me.

Yeah, costumes.com pulled that shit on me cancelling part of my order, but still charging me full price for shipping  (this order was for figures) and I ended up paying way more for some figure than I would've anywhere else.  I was pissed and would never do business with them again.

Just to clarify, in my case the original order was above the free shipping threshold - the removed items put the total below that amount, but they did not try to then add on a shipping charge. So the only issue is a few canceled items, which is fine.

Today's pickup from Ollie's Bucky Cap ($9.99) and TVC Ahsoka & Grogu two pack ($4.99).  The other new figure I saw, but didn't buy was the Christmas Purge Trooper.  Ollie's is the place to army build Imperial Nut Crackers.

I was a little worried about the redcap’s order I put in because I got an order processing error and 5/6 things in my cart disappeared off the site when I was done ordering so I didn’t put in a replacement order. I got an order received message anyways and I guess it must’ve went through initially because they made a shipping label and refunded just a single item. Looking forward to getting in the rest.

Hoping Ross is prepping for more Hasbro influx. I just picked up two Gi Joe Classifed Cover Girls for $6 apiece.

To put a cap on my Redcap's order experience -  they responded and canceled my entire order - so no harm no foul ultimately.   It was too bad -  I wouldn't have minded getting everything in the original order for the original price plus shipping,  but ultimately I am happier not paying more for shipping than for the one figure I would have received.

 

As someone who does understand the high cost of shipping when I try to sell things on Ebay,  and the unrealistic expectations that high volume shipping companies like Amazon set with consumers -  I am sympathetic.    

 

So thanks to Redcap's Corner at least for quality customer service after the fact.
