Stopped in at Macy's and found the BAF Zabu wave for 15% off of 25$. All Marvel toys are 15% off including X-Men and Spidey. If you are approved of their credit card they nock and additional 20% off, but today and tomorrow it's 30% off.
I legitimately cannot remember the last time I set foot inside a Macy's store... it's been years
I just went - nothing...
Target is having a 30% off sale ML, SW, GIJoe, I think McFarlane - and I was able to price adjust the IM figures and Angel I just bought Thursday. This time, with no shaming or hassle!
Well, that figures. I was at Target today and they didn't have any signage up for any sales. I would've bought Mutt while there. Assholes! That shit didn't fly when I worked there back in the day.
@mr-potatohead I think it’s an online only sale so they wouldn’t have signage up for that. Not sure what the goal of online only sales are when you can usually get them to match their website offers in store.
My Target didn't have any sale signs either, but when I used the price scanner for a couple of Star Wars items it showed the discounted price.
There are signs up at my store. They also had one up for Doc Ock and wrestling, but I didn't see anything for GI Joe and Star Wars. Had I known yesterday, I might have picked up another Techno Viper. Most of the Mutts and Junkyard are gone.
This winged guy is on the shelf...
...but I had to ask for this one. Holding out worked well this time. I didn't preorder and I almost bought him two weeks ago at GameStop.
Sam scans at $24.99, but says unsellable.
Oh, Target, you so crazy with your random and pointless street dating. 🙄
My Targets had ZERO ML besides MCU mk 50. Was hoping to get lucky on some retro IM wave, or Angel. Nothin' doin'.
Is this thread only for ML stuff? Cuz while I've seen some scoffing at the EE sale discount, I actually found it quite useful for some NECA pre-orders. They've had some big ticket items go up for pre-order recently like the Krampus figures and the new American Werewolf 2-pack that worked very well.
FWIW, EE, in my experience, has the best shipping around. I've received bend packaging from virtually every other company but EE ships in heavy boxes (I always reuse them) and everything I've ordered over the years has arrived mint. They charge a boatload if you don't get free shipping though. Usually my go-to if I want to order a bunch of junk cool toys at once.
I've been starting to use EE more frequently, but only for stuff they happen to have in stock or on sale. I avoid using them for preorders. It's easier and more cost efficient for me to use BBTS for the types of preorders I wouldn't do at Pulse or Amazon. That tends to be MotU Origins and Masterverse, Super7 Ultimates, imports, Marvel Select. But I just scored an extra NECA Mirage Splinter from EE, some Super7 Silverhawks Ultimates. They had a great sale on S7 Ultimates, from which I bought about 5-7 figures across different lines.
Curious why you say not for pre-orders. Very often their prices are lower than BBTS, and they seem to offer free shipping pretty often too. Cancellation's not as simple though, I know that. They're not my go-to, but I've used them often enough without issue. But again, I'm most talking NECA stuff here.
Don't spoil the joy of getting a 30% price adjustment for yourself like I did by telling your wife you're going to get a 30% price adjustment then telling her how much total you put back in your wallet. She's not going to focus on the money you saved, but the money you originally spent. 🙁
