Stopped at Ross this morning and didn't find a damn thing ... As usual. Was hoping for Python Patrol stuff.

I did find a couple Starting Lineups (Ja Morant, Joel Embiid) for the crazy price of $7.99 and a Credit Collection Bo-Katan Kryze for $9.99 at Ollie's so that was cool.Β

I'm pretty surprised the Hydra/SHIELD army builder 2-pack is still in stock at the discounted price on Pulse Outlet. I assumed those would have been wiped out by now at $35, which basically puts them at the same price as the SHIELD 2-pack from a few years ago. It's a great set, and fun to have a new type of Hydra goon to add to the ranks! I definitely have *way* too many SHIELD agents now though.

I admit I'm tempted by that set, but I'd need at least five so I can have each unique female head on a SHIELD body, another body to make Daisy Johnson, and one to put the Skrull Queen head on. Just because. But I don't have any of the male troop builder SHIELD agents, so that's been helping me resist (in addition to not wanting to spend $175).

Yeah....Β  if I could buy a couple of female Hydra agents by themselves I'd do it... but I ended up with a few extra Quake figures I found on clearance who are my female SHIELD force and I don't really need the lady agents vastly outnumbering the guys -Β  Β so I haven't ordered any more of those 2-packs.

I'll take a set at that price.Β  I was avoiding it because I gotΒ  some Quakes from Ollie's as well as few at full price.Β  At least I can say I didn't pay nearly $50 for a Hydra figure.

Yeah the unavailability of male Shield soldiers to go with the female set stops me from wanting more than the one set I picked up.Β  Pulse really should keep some of the army builders in stock at all times.Β  But hey money saved...

I've lost count of how many SHIELD agents I have - certainly more than I actually need or will ever realistically display. Same with Hydra and AIM goons. I'm still happy to add any unique shapes and sizes to diversify those lineups though! Looking forward to the Fury/Dugan/Carter set.

It really does seem like making certain army builders continually available would be a boon - how many collectors might just randomly decide to throw one or two in with an order, either to add to the ones they already have or because they never picked them up before? I know warehouse space isn't cheap, but c'mon...

I've got plenty of AIM guys because I've found a seller who is selling the 2-packs really cheap. So I have a tendency to grab one every couple weeks or so. My oldest son actually laughed at me the other day when another set arrived. "Don't you have enough yet, Dad?" LOL

Wish the same could be said of HYDRA or SHIELD guys.

Count me among those who bought plenty of Quakes when they dropped in price, thus eliminating a need for half of this Hydra/SHIELD set. I still haven’t grabbed more despite the sale. I think I only grabbed one for full price since I had plenty of Quake bodies for the alternate heads.

I keep getting tempted to pick up an MCU Goliath just to stand in for a comic Bill Foster in my Avengers display. But I've resisted so far.

Plenty of python patrol stuff if you are into those, including trouble bubbles.
