I made a ~$50 order from Kids Whs and they charged me for the Fortnite Upgrade Shark (the main thing I wanted from the whole order) and didn't ship it. Now it's showing out of stock. So they just ran out of stock fulfilling orders and shipped the rest of the order anyway.
Boo. This isn't how business should be done.
After all the good things I heard here, this is disappointing. I won't be ordering from them again.
EDIT: They did refund the item fwiw. I would have cancelled the order outright if I had known they would ship the order incomplete.

BBTS also has the old Marvel Universe Goliath v Thor pack available for $70. Not bad for a set that’s been unavailable for 15 years…

I'd like to get that but man...$75 is pretty steep. I think I'll have to be content not building the Brotherhood after all.
What to learn from those who skipped Blob and regret it is not to sleep on new versions of figures where the old version goes for high market prices. Some of those will still go to clearance like MODOK and Mojo, but some won't, and it's VERY difficult to predict which will happen because ultimately we don't know how many figures Hasbro will issue for any given release or what the demand is relative to those numbers.
And Blob is absolutely excellent and a top ten figure of 2023. If you can get him for a semi-reasonable price then do it, because unless they re-issue him I expect prices to be around where the BAF used to be, i.e. around $200, within a year or two.
I bought the Blob early 2023. I didn't remember it being $75 though (BBTS's current price). So I went back and checked my receipt from BBTS, and it was $57.99 back then.
It is a good figure. It didn't make my tope ten of the year, but it was a strong contender. Those early year figures always have a tough time staying in the lead, due to recency bias.
The only reason I really considered seeking him out now was because I just got Toad on sale at BBTS. So I figured I had Magneto, Mystique, and Toad already, with Avalanche an easy grab at my local GameStop. That would just require Blob and a Pyro to be caught up.
But nope. I don't typically buy X-figures, so seeing that price reminds me I need to stick with that practice.

Yeah but I don't like retailers that price gouge. $56 was rough before. That's why I didn't buy him previously.
So $75 certainly isn't any more palatable. +$4 tax and shipping? no thanks.
What I wanted to ask is when did he leave Pulse webstore?
I'd rather go without than overpay, and I still don't think it's worth $56. Just because it's currently out of stock--again--doesn't mean it's gone forever. I'm happy to wait and see if more come in at a discount. Unless these were some limited edition, there is no way I believe Pulse is done getting any more. It was a slow seller from the start. If I'm wrong so be it, it wasn't meant to be and I'll wait for the next one in 10 years. 😛

I’m hoping he’ll turn up on one of those Back In Stock Fridays.
It's interesting... the fact that so much Marvel Legends product gets discounted has led people to believe that all Legends product will eventually be available at a discount price. But, I'm pretty sure Blob never went that route. Yes the figure was expensive even for a Deluxe. But it is widely regarded as one of the best Legends figures of the year and even ever by some.
BBTS marking the figure up $20 over MSRP suggests that they know demand is greater than supply on this figure. Heck, the cheapest loose Blob on Ebay is $80 shipped. There's currently a loose one at $59 plus $10 shipping, but that still has two days of bidding to go.
So if your line in the sand for buying this is it has to be less than $50 you'll probably be waiting a minute.
