Saw in a Facebook group someone posted a picture of retro carded white and grey War Machine with a $5.99 Ross price tag and receipt. Apparently found in Denver. Would be cool to get some cheap Iron Man/War Machine armors to design my own armor color scheme
Saw a couple of those War Machines on the pegs at a Ross in the Cleveland area this weekend. They also had a couple gingerbread-colored Christmas Clone Troopers with the porg. Both $5.99.
A nearby Target had Anti-Monitor and the Bat-robot from McFarlane down to $12.49 or something. Talked myself out of grabbing them as I'm trying to cut down on stuff and really regret it now, particularly AM.
I hate not having a Ross by me.
Don't feel too bad @normdapito - I have like 7 between my work and home, and I've decided to pretty much stop hunting there.
Yeah, there's some great deals to be had, especially if you're a customizer looking for fodder. But typically I would not find what I was looking for (IE: all those great scores you see on Instagram), and would end up buying stuff I wasn't looking for because it's such a great deal.
Now I have like 100 fortnite figures I never knew existed and are taking up valuable bin space lol
@reefer-shark same here. I only have three pretty close, I'm sure more 'within driving distance', but it's been ages since I've found something that was even an impulse buy, let alone something I was really excited for.
I found the D&D movie Chris Pine figure at Ross. Only time I've ever seen that figure at actual retail and he cost $4.99. So y'never know!
I hate not having a Ross by me.
I should elaborate on my Ross finds this weekend — my daughter was the one that wanted to go, she was looking for makeup and clothes. We hit four Ross' in the Cleveland area (to kill time during a three-hour break in my other daughter's cheerleading competition) and I only saw anything good at one store.
My daughter did get some $10 Britney Spears perfume, so there's that ...
I'll say it again. Your watch and car's gas tank love not having a Ross around. In my experience, if I hit my local Buffalo store 10 times, maybe once I'll find something, but never what I'm really looking for.
Never saw the Viper 3-pack, any good Transformers, that carded X-Men sentinel or any of the newer Joes like Copperhead. I have found a second Croc Master set, tons of TF Outback, Crimson Twins and MM Barbecue.
I've never been there at opening, but I'm guessing there's a group of regulars waiting at the doors to pounce on anything good.
Toad is down to $18 on Amazon for those who skipped it at first.
Thank you! Looks like its up to $20 now, but even so I'm glad to grab a second copy. It is one of my favorite Marvel Legends that came out these last few years.
Toad is still at or returned to $18, you just need to go into the more buying options and select the cheaper seller for whatever reason. Also, Franklin/Valeria two pack is at about $30 www.amazon.com/dp/B0BSGKY4G6?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
I had just gotten Toad from BBTS a week before seeing this (he's around $20 there). Very nice figure, but all it does to me now is make me need to go back and find Pyro, Blob, and Avalanche to further complete The Brotherhood. But given his exclusivity, I doubt I'll be able to add Mastermind to the team anytime soon.
My Target hasn't reset yet. A new item trickles out like Real Ghostbusters or a wrestling figure, but the bulk of new items have been on a pallet for three weeks in the area that separates toys from bedding.
BBTS one day sale has the X-Men three packs under $50 and the Villains 5 pack at $82. Not sure what the lowest price on the villains has been.
kdswhs has the villains set for 69.99
