I used to hit those up semi-regularly when I would do toy runs, but I rarely go into stores any more. Part of me misses that, and part of me...does not.
I still go way too much, like every day on the way home from work and sometimes at lunch too.
I really enjoy in person shopping so much more than clicking on the net. That feeling of scoring something in the wild still holds something special for me, but I am feeling the burn. I figure by 60 I'll be an online only guy if I'm still collecting lol

I stopped by a Ross to see if they had any of the retro X-Men figures that someone posted on Reddit. I didn't find any but I did see a Famous Covers Mr. Sinister. Definitely wasn't expecting to see that.
The Toy Biz Famous Covers figure?! Was it in good condition? How much? That's insane.
Pulse has definitely added some figures and sets to their clearance section. The Storm/Forge/Jubilee set is 58, though the Gambit/Banshee/Psylocke set is 49. They added NextWave MODOK for 49. I hadn’t previously noticed X-Men Animated Morph, Storm, Jean, Mystique are all part of it. There are some random TF Legacy figures in there I hadn’t noticed. And the Black Series Rogue One Jedha Stormtrooper.
Target has two sales that affect Legends--their usual spend $50 and get $10 off or spend $100 and get $25 off, plus another sale that reduces all base prices by about 15% to 20%, not sure how much exactly.
Yeah, I got some business to do at Target this morning. Going to bring in all of my No Way Home receipts and my receipt for First Appearance Spider-Man. Also, a couple of my stores are showing "low stock" for Green Goblin, so I might see if I have any luck on those. I should be able to put a good chunk of change back into my pocket.
That's so cool. I'd have to buy it on principle. 🙂 I sold all my Famous Covers when my parents moved, except for Storm, Green Goblin and Spider-Girl (for some reason), but I had to rebuy Rogue for a Rogue shelf and at some point I know I'll get another Dark Phoenix for that shelf.

I brought in my receipt for FA Spider-Man and my receipt for NWH Tom, Toby, MJ, and Matt. They refunded everything, then re-rang it. When it was all said and done, I spent $90 total on those five figures. I put roughly $45 back in my pocket. Nice.
