@maczero It wasn't. I took a picture of the item and requested a refund, explaining it was the wrong figure in the right package. I don't think I even said anything about swapping since that's technically speculation. Ebay said 3-5 business days but I think it was the following day that they refunded me with no further contact or anything. I left positive feedback detailing what had happened, and they immediately left me positive feedback as well so I assume it's automated. So yeah, it's really not a huge risk when you think about it, but I rarely do impulse buys or wait for figures anymore. I've cut down so much on what I'm collecting that it's not a big deal to just preorder five or six a year at full price, and the ones I order I REALLY want so I don't risk waiting for sales anymore. But for those who do, definitely worth a try.

@ashtalon I saw that! I was so tempted to get some Predators but I had already decided to live without them at full price so I talked myself out of it before they were gone. I'm really glad they never got the Ultimate Dog Thing from The Thing, heh. That one would have been too tempting to turn down, but it's another I already decided to go without.

Unfortunately for me I had MCU Kang in my cart for almost 24 hrs and never got an offer for a reduced price.  Had to buy as they only had a handful left.  It's sitting on my porch now waiting for me to get home.  Fingers crossed no issues.

@ashtalon not that I know of, but I kinda equate it with the Predator from Prey since they went up for preorder at the same time and that one was listed on bullseyedeals for a bit at least.

I just looked at bbts and they have the Feral Predator in stock and the Thing is supposed to come this month.

I see all NECA items on Bullseye Deals are back to full price now.  Where's the deal?

Also, my Kang came mint.

I’ve ordered 6 figures so far, all but one was correct and all were 20% off the the already discounted list price.  Just ordered three more Marvel Legends at 20% off list price.  The worst thing that happens is they send the wrong items and I get free figures.

Disney Store has a Toy Tuesday promotion, which unfortunately doesn't include much good that I can see, but if you like their talking toys or Toybox stuff, now is the time to get them I guess.

For my fellow Canucks......Dollarama seems to be restocking the second case of 3.75" Retro Marvel figures that they had earlier this year.  Included is Thing, Thor, Black Widow, Black Suit Spiderman and Green Goblin.  Finally snagged a Green Goblin and BS Spiderman who I missed out on the first go round.  Still $5 each.

I took a chance and I placed my first order with Bullseye for three Quantumania figures (Antman, Ultron, Kang).  Boxes were a bit messed up, but all the parts were there.  

I had my first two misfires from Bullseye come in the same day - the Tarantula I ordered had the old figure swapped in, and PS5 Spider-Man 2 came with no disc inside. Both were refunded within an hour or two of filing the request. Tarantula is no big but Spider-Man 2 was a pretty sweet deal! Oh well.

Heh, instead I am selling off my McFarlane Things. Although, I feel like if I'm gonna have only one Thing, the dog one is pretty iconic. Still gonna wait for a sale though.
