I don't have room for any more Sentinels! I've already stored most of the ones I have. But even storage space is scarce for me.
I mean I already use that as my Sentinel with the Haslab being Master Mold.
A re-do on the Gigantic Battles Sentinel would be a touch disappointing - I have 3 different versions after each prior release. The last one.... Days of Future Past? I think that one was more or less the same coloring as the cartoon.
The foot crater has 2 foot rocket impressions - which the Gigantic Battles mold does not have. Hopefully this is an indicator of a brand new Plus Size release.

Yeah, I can't imagine it's just them recycling that same previous gigantic battles Sentinel. That would be a ridiculous let down.
I mean... they pretty much nailed the Arcade Sentinel sculpt... why risk not making exactly this?
I'd be really surprised to see them reuse the GB Sentinel from back in the day. If they can offer a brand new 12" Dragon Man for $85, they can do a new Sentinel - knowing that they'll probably sell 5x as many too. Make them as classic as they are in X-Men '97 and watch those things flyyyyy.
Smart of them to include a stand with these new sentinels in case their knees are crap too 😆
The more that I think about this, the more I'm expecting it to be either a straight re-issue or a re-deco of the Marvel Universe Gigantic Battles Sentinel. They've teased a "second chance" at something a couple of times, and this might be it. If I remember right, the last time they offered that it came with a 3.75" Wolverine for $99.99. Obviously it would have to be more than that now ($150?, $200?). I believe that the very first time they offered it that it was only $49.99, but that was a very long time ago now. I have two different decos of that Sentinel already so I don't know if I'd buy another one or not. I think that they're around 16" tall (from memory).
I hope not. I have three of them between the original MU from like 2011 and then the ML re-release in like 2017. It's pretty old. We should definitely get a new mold for it.
@h-bird Considering this is the model they are using in place of the Haslab (for now at least), and the all new Dragon-Man they revealed, I can't see them doing anything but a new mold for this Sentinel.
If they were crazy enough to try and sell us a mold reuse Sentinel (with some changes) it would not go over well. Plus that old mold has only minor similarities to the X-Men 97 Sentinel. Hell the Retro Sentinel, and Arcade Sentinel were closer to the X-Men 97 Sentinel in design.
How about this? They are going to reuse the X-Men 97 Sentinel they released last year, but now with ARTICULATION!!!!! 🤣 Only $150US!!!! Perfect......

Yeah, it's not like they'd do something dumb like re-release a very old BAF for the 3rd (or 4th time) like say Arnim Zola in a 2-pack with a much desired figure like classic Baron Zemo or something like tha… oooohhh wait, never mind.
