@darkxorn exactly. I typically ignore this person, but on this occasion they seemed legitimately confused about how tall these were, but it was just bait - per usual. Now, as the topic starter, I get to be bombarded with notifications about inane b/s when I log on, but I should have known better and only have myself to blame.

Not at all, it was you that seemed legitimately confused that 1/6 figures are 8 times larger volume-wise than 1/12 scale figures. You've clearly never realised this, and that is why you responded in the way that you did.

At least you know now.

For those that haven't managed to get Rogue so far, you can still pre-order the regular edition on Mondo's website.

The Limited Edition will probably cost you $400 or so to purchase now, so to get most of the accessories of the Limited Edition, less three heads and a base, for only $210, that seems like a deal to me. You can only display the figure with one head at a time anyway, (if you don't count the Sentinel head that is 😉 ) so yeah, the regular edition ain't that bad a pick up.

Not at all, this is just facts. The market value of the Limited Edition has gone way up now, so you have to account for current market values when making purchasing decisions in the present.

This makes the regular edition much better value for those that are very value-focused. Granted, for the first 5 minutes that the Rogue Limited Edition was on sale for at the same time as the regular edition, the $25 difference in market value made the Limited Edition version the one to get out of the two offerings. But since those 5 minutes passed, the landscape has changed and the regular edition is more appetising now, since are those three extra heads and a base worth another $190 say? Probably not to a lot of people.

Question...

Does Mondo ever re-stock these?

I initially passed on this line, but my perseverance when out the window and I NEED these...

Gambit is no longer on their site, but can still pre-order from BBTS for a considerable mark-up.

These are already expensive enough, so not trying to pay even more.

That is interesting that these other retailers get them. I guess they must be the overflow that Mondo have to order of the regular edition's in order to hit factory MOQ, (minimum order quantity). The retailers help clear Mondo's warehouse out in exchange for charging a bit more for newcomers to still get an opportunity to purchase the figure.

I know what you mean, I was looking at the Mondo B:TAS Catwoman, I missed out on the Mondo Exclusive version that was only 5 dollars more than the standard version (which is still available) that also included an unmasked Selina Kyle head and an extra cat that sits on her shoulders - I saw a couple of the exclusive version on eBay and its like "Am I really going to spend close to/over 100 dollars more just for one additional head and an accessory"

Yeah, exactly.

It doesn't make sense to view the currently available regular edition price vs an ''out-of-stock at retail price'' limited edition, like some people have been doing.

The regular edition is still good value compared to paying scalpers for the limited edition. Eventually even the regular edition won't be available from Mondo directly, and at that point it will be maybe $270 from the likes of BBTS if you are lucky, or $300+ from scalpers on the secondary market.

And for those people that missed out on the limited edition but they really, really, really, really want the extra heads and base, then those people will be ok with paying $400 for it. So everyone still has an opportunity to get a version of Rogue in their collection that is satisfying for them.

Pre-ordered Rogue direct from Mondo. While I would have liked the extra heads and Sentinel base, I can live without...

I wish I would have decided on this line earlier. Playing catch up is very $$$

I'm still pissed about missing this Rogue exclusive. But now that it's been two weeks and no sign of a re-stock, I might as well just buy the regular. They really sucked the joy of this dream figure.

Anyone have any Mondoshop coupon codes, to lessen the sting?

Mondo allow a few lucky customers to win coupons on their live streams. You usually have to answer some kind of obscure trivia questions which aren't easy, but hey, it's a free chance to get a store discount.

As for the Rogue regular edition, you can buy one now at a very reasonable price, have that for a while, then if at a later point in time you find that you really want the limited version, then you can sell your regular version on the secondary market for a profit, (assuming you keep the figure in good condition and have the box and all accessories), and then use that bit of profit you make to upgrade to buy someone elses limited edition and the price you end up paying them will be subsidised somewhat from the profit you made selling your regular version.

Got Jubilee in. Very nice figure and the best representation of her animated series look hand's down.

However, absolutely not worth $195. I would say $125 is more palatable, but here I am with her in hand anyways...

I will swallow the price point and pick up the rest (because I have a problem 😋), but damn, these will all look amazing together when I find a space/shelf for them to call home.

It is a lovely figure, although I did notice that the lower part of the elbow joint has an unpainted appearance that doesn't match the paint on the forearms. I think Sabretooth has a similar issue. I don't have either figure so I can't personally verify, but I noticed that on some reviews that I saw.

I've paid a lot for some of my Mondo figures, (some on the after-market), and I haven't regretted any of my purchases so far though, so that is a good sign. They definitely produce some quality stuff! I am excited for Rogue coming in that I have ordered.

Damn Rogue sold out in the blink of an eye! I wasn't going to get her (I cant start down a rabbit hole of X-Men TAS Mondo figs!) but decided to see how long she hung around, couldnt belive how quickly she went though!

FYI Gambit is showing as "Almost Gone" as well

Just a heads up - Rogue (Regular edition) is now showing as "Almost Gone" - and Gambit (Regular edition) is sold out

Not entirely sure what the print runs are like on the regular editions of these figures (some exclusives like Man-Bat, Rogue and Omega Red list a print run of 1000)

Topic starter

I received my shipping notification last week for the Rogue special edition. It, like the past few releases, is shipping directly from the factory in China. They printed a label, or DHL received notification, on the 30th of April, but it hasn't updated at all. I did see one person on social media with the figure already, but I have no idea if it was an early thing. Either way, with Rogue shipping it might mean we're not far from a Cyclops pre-order. Considering we're already deep into the month of May, it might also mean that Cyclops is timed with San Diego. I'm also guessing they might not want to run preorders for X-Men against Spider-Man and we must be due for a Spider-Man '94 solicitation pretty soon.
