He looks great, but I definitely don't need to start collecting variants at this point. He'll set you back $240 and goes on sale Wednesday the 24th. I'm assuming that like last year's Logan that this is a preorder.
I can't tell -- is he a limited edition? Or just a timed edition? Hope this one is easy to get.
Found my answer on IG. There are only 650 units. The SDCC Magneto last year had only 500, but lasted a long time if I recall correctly. I'm assuming this will be more popular than that but less popular than the limited edition X:TAS Cyclops.
Mondo e-mailed letting me know the Rogue replacement parts have been pushed to August to ensure quality is up to standard.
Don't mind waiting to make sure I get a solid tight jointed body.

They haven't achieved tight joints for any release yet so I wouldn't expect that specific issue to get fixed.
That seems like an exaggeration. I have every figure in the line so far except the brown-costumed Wolverine and the comic Magneto and none of my figures have loose joints. Only joint I would like tighter across the figures I have is Magneto's diaphragm. And the only joint I haven't liked across all of them are Magneto's hands, which for the most part won't rotate on the ball-hinge and the post that goes into the forearm is engineered not to rotate. You can force it, but you risk snapping off a peg so I basically pull the hands out to rotate them. I'm not denying other people have received floppy figures and those who did should absolutely send it back for a replacement or request extra parts and go from there, but it isn't some lost cause.
Has there been any word on when Spider-Man will be going on sale?
Their quality control is definitely a thing. I wouldn't call Rogue loose, but I wouldn't call her legs tight. Her arms are. And I gave in and bought a Limited Edition and the winking face has a paint mark I can't scrape off and a divot in her nose - for this price that's really unacceptable. And her side under the diaphragm joint came with a cut in the paint.
And if they had THAT many QC issues that they have to import a whole nother set, that's a really widespread problem.
@enigmaticclarity The Jubilee, Sabretooth, & Gambit I received from them are all good in terms of how stable their joints are.
Rogue is the only one I have had issues with.

Are they stable in a vanilla pose good, or stable in a dynamic pose that places more weight on every joint good? It's the latter I wanted from this line but didn't get and haven't seen strong evidence of from other people's pics.
@enigmaticclarity They're too big for dynamic poses...at lest IMO. Especially when trying to fit them all on one shelf.
I'll snap a photo when I get home from work and add it to my post.

No, but hoping they don't release all three Spidey figures (blue/red Spidey, black costume Spidey, and Venom) all at once. Also, hoping they're timed editions and none of this limited edition nonsense.
I'm honestly not sure how the Spidey line will do. So far, the Batman and X-Men lines had a slow start with their initial first few figures, and then got popularity around the fifth or sixth release.

If you're implying that sixth scale figures are too big for dynamic posing then I refer you to the mid-2010s Marvel Legends sixth scale figures with joints that can all absolutely hold those poses.
Since you were talking vanilla posing I guess our experience with Mondo's joints are about the same. The people with even looser joints on some figures scares me. 😱

Agreed, I hope they space these out and do them as Timed Editions - I would hate it if they did black costume Spider-Man as a run of only 1000 like they did with Rogue
As a person whose first purchase with Mondo was Rogue, doing her as a limited instead of timed REALLY was a sucky choice. Here's a ton more value for only $25 more - but you can't actually have one!
So stupid.
