Anyone think Lady Deathstrike could be used as a decent base for a Karai from TMNT custom? Would need new arms and some paint, and a head. Arms could come from anywhere, and throw some gauntlets on there. Like Jean's maybe. And I'm not sure which head would work. Needs to be Asain looking. I would prefer something akin to Kelly Hu's version from the CG cartoon that was on Nick like a decade ago. The one with Sean Astin and Seth Green. That portrayel was fantastic. Or classic, cause that's kind of the outfit I'm trying to do.
I want her to go with my TMNT Power Rangers and Deathstrike's body looks really close to what classic Karai looks like.
Also wanna try to figure out something for Casey Jones. Was playing around with the idea of using old man Hawkeye, but the head will still be an issue.

I can put my paints away now that I finally got around to fixing Vertigo and giving Songbird a makeover - a Cuckoo head with Monet's pretty windswept hair.
Realized the key on Vertigo was the shade of green needed to be the same as the costume, which is why Madame Hydra's head with just white added always looked so wrong. Full repaint later and I'm happy.

Weren't you asking in the original post where Blade's arms come from? That was the answer. Blade and Havok share the arm sculpt. If you want sleeves that aren't rolled, try the thick suit bodies. Hammerhead, Jigsaw, D'Onofrio Kingpin, Happy Hogan, have long sleeves with pinned double elbows.

I assumed Blade's forearms with the rolled up sleeves were new, assuming they came from someone with rolled down sleeves, whom I could take their forearms from & swap them out.
Black is preferred as I don't like paint matching, and I refuse to paint near joints.
Happy might work, as I wanted to give Fisk some added height...
I found Madam Hydra at Ollie's for $10, so I nabbed her. What heads were people using to replace the default one? I don't mind the face but the hair is annoying.
I haven't done it yet but seems like D+ Nebula hair repainted green would look very Steranko / Colan era Madam Hydra.
I also nabbed Captain Carter from there, and messing with her, I noticed the shield is garbage. It's thin plastic, and too small. Are there any alternatives from a 3rd party? I know I bought some MCU cap shields a long while ago to replace the trash comic ones they keep spitting out from someone on Ebay for a decent price. I have like 4 or so of them. I'm wondering if anyone did one for Capt. Carter.

Or Britannia. Either of those would have been good. But I imagine she kept her own name because even though she's British, her power originated from an American experiment, so "Captain Britain" might seem...disingenuous?
Regardless, I've got that figure as well and personally haven't had an issue with it. She's standing as a member of "my" Excalibur (Captains Britain and Carter, Union Jack, Meggan, Psylocke, Black Knight, and Death's Head II).
Your lucky she's standing - both Captain Carter figs I have have terrible ankles that never want to move into helpful positions.
I'm thinking they didn't do it cause Captian Britain already exists, and it's like, 3 other characters in the XMen adjacent franchises. But she's got the British flag all over her. We don't go around calling Captain America Captain Steve lol. I just felt like it was an odd choice to not have her even take up the Captain Britain mantel for this. It's all alternate dimension stuff anyway. And like I said, there have been multiple people as Captain Britain already too so its not like dude owns the moniker.
Mine stands fine. Maybe you need to dab some super glue in there and tighten her ankle joints. My issue is definitely the shield. It's too small and too thin.
