Blaze from the Lighting Collection has a fantastic blonde head that is probably exactly what you're looking for. Sorry, I saw your post and thought I'd suggested this when you asked! 🙁

it’s all good. I’ll check it out and see how it works. I’m always down to add more civilian and unmasked head options to the collection. Other lines are a blind spot for me, so your help is appreciated!
I don't know why people don't like cloth capes. I love them. They make everything look better. I wouldn't want like, cloth clothes on everything. But capes give you so much more posing options. And they can be moved out of the way. Plastic capes make it hard to pose most things, and sometimes the way they have it wavey or sculpted looks aweful. There are a few that aren't as intrusive, but most of them are.
I immediately replace every plastic cape I come across. Hell, my Fantomex even has a soft goods jacket.
I think people hate FACTORY cloth goods. The stuff big toy companies mass produce for their full run of a figure. Think Black Series Vader or any Jedi robe.
Third party cloth capes are usually very well made, and at the very least, have a wire built in so the cloth can also be posed. That’s almost never the case with mass market cloth goods. Third party capes usually also double the price of a mass market figure, sometimes they cost even more than the figure. There’s definitely a difference.
I love a GOOD softgoods cape, unfortunately you can rarely trust a big name toy company to do it well. On the few Mattel figures I have, the SG capes are either very stiff to the point where it holds no real detail, or they're a pleather material that curls up at the edge.
I do like the capes Hasbro has done on Darth Vader because they just drape, and that's all it ever did in the 3 original movies, so Hasbro's Vader capes do all I need them to do.
I have 3rd party capes for my Thor, Magneto, Scarlet Witch and Moon Knight and they all add so much to the figure. They're really worth it if you can find a quality cape.
I think Black Series actually has a pretty solid track record when it comes to retail soft goods. I know some people don't like the Vader capes, but I do. I found myself double wrapping the ring around Vader's neck so they'd lay on his shoulders better, but they feel weighty and drape nicely. Palpatine's robe is also really well done. I usually detest cloth hoods since they NEVER sit on the head right without a wire, but his actually does thanks to the stitching they did. Dooku's is good too. Not my first choice for material, but it still works.
Of course, even they often fumble. Jedi robes remain a problem, with that issue I outlined about hoods earlier being VERY evident with them. Darth Nihilus and Revan's capes also feel really cheap.
I think the worst retail cloth goods I've ever gotten was on that first wave Masterverse Skeletor. Literally just a flat piece of felt, I took that thing off as soon as I got it. Simply terrible.
I have a few third party soft goods pieces that I really like. My fav's are nice wired capes for Moon Knight and Cloak, Wired coats for Gambit and White Queen. and Lab coats for Reed Richards and Beast.
Definitely recommend wired soft goods, it just adds so much dynamic appearance to figures
I've seen some really nice soft good/wired capes for Thor, including one Robo reviewed in one of his Play Days. I've been tempted, but I'm scared of what needs to be done to Thor to attach that. So I've never pulled the trigger.
I have a few wired capes from Rebel10 and they are really good. I have 1 for Astonishing Emma, and then 2 for a couple of my Din Djarin figures. If I had the money I would honestly get more. Probably Magneto, some coats for Punisher, probably Ahsokas smock. Unfortunately it's too expensive for me to buy them all. I get why, I understand the price, and I don't fault customizers for it. Just out of my price range for the foreseeable future.
I'm in the boat that I feel like all soft goods look like shit at this scale.
I look at Agatha and am so thankful she's got no soft goods. She would have looked as bad as Rita Repulsa if they had went the other route.
For those who love soft goods it's an easy fix, for those of us who hate it it's nearly impossible for a solution.

As much as I hate hard plastic capes, I suppose you are correct that there's not much alternative for the cloth haters.

So as maybe the #1 soft goods hater on this site I have to concur with Norm's statement. Cloth goods released by toy manufacturers are garbage with cheap terrible fabrics and clumsy seam stitching that looks awful.
Even I will concede that some of the quality fan made cloth capes work well on these figures.
But since no company like Hasbro or Mattel will ever commit to the cost of cloth capes at a high quality I'd rather they do plastic that at least look good in a static pose. As Norm points out, often the quality cloth capes available on the after market cost as much as the figure.
