I'm working on something and wondering are there any other figures that have a jacket like Rogue?  It would need both the half jacket/vest and the upper arms (so Boom Boom doesn't count).

Also are there any female figures that have what I call pirate boots sculpted, similar to Captain America?

Dazzler, Grey Widow, and Sersi have the jacket with rolled sleeves. Monica Rambeau and Mockingbird have those buccaneer boots.

Can someone give me a reminder of MLs that have used the teen male buck or know which one goes for the lowest aftermarket price?  I need one for a custom job. Thanks.

Off the top of my head:

Amazing Fantasy Spider-Man

Franklin Richards

Kid Omega Quentin Quire

None are really cheap.

Also the older, smaller Teen Male body was used for:

  • Ultimate Peter Parker Spider-Man (Space Venom BaF)
  • Ultimate Peter Parker Spider-Man (Ultimate Vulture 2-pk)
  • Ultimate Miles Morales Spider-Man (Space Venom BaF)
  • Ultimate Black Suit Spider-Man (Fearsome Foes Amazon 5-pk)
  • Kid Nova with a resculpted chest (Titus BaF)

Again, none of these are cheap either.

Thanks, all.  I was hoping to use the older, smaller teen male buck and it does indeed seem that I will have to pay a lot for it.  Simbiote Miles is cheap enough but there are sculpted-in details on the arms that aren't going to work with what I want to do.  Bummer.

So for anybody who has yet to get Cable but was also not happy with the boots, a set of the Bucky body leg straps work pretty well with the boots from Razorback to give a much more fitting overall silhouette and bulk to the legs, it’s a bit more evocative if the Steve Skroce/Ian Churchill art than the MvsC2 character sprite.

one set of left leg straps heated and turned upside down go nicely on the right calf of Cabke and similarly one set of right leg straps invert and go on the left calf. The boots swap on with no peg modification needed at all, so really all that’s missing is then a bit of a paint dry brushing to give the boots a more even worn/faded hint of orange to make it all match but I might not get around to doing that myself for a while

Does anybody know if the orange on box-set Tigra matches the orange of Wolfsbane… I only have retro card Cheeto Tigra but if the box set version is a colour match for Wolfsbane I might try getting it and doing some part swaps

I think I had to use parts from every Gambit to make my ideal look.

Head - 60th anniversary

Torso, crotch, thighs - Caliban wave

Collar, boots - Retro

Coat, arms - '97

@neozero35 I desperately need to know how you swapped the arms out with the '97 Gambit. I didn't think you could do that with these sleeves without completely cracking both torsos. I bought all 4 of these Gambits months ago to do this exact combination of parts and the arms are what keeps me from proceeding.

Some swapping fun with recent hair sculpts on some old customs. Phoenix got the Black Winter Thor hair, with the two strands originally at the temple moved to other spots on the hair sculpt, and dry brushed in red.

Dark Phoenix got She Hulks hair, with a few sculpted strands to make it symmetrical, a heavy black wash then dry brushed in red.

I don't really bother to glue hair in these days, they're just secured by blu-tac if I ever wanna swap them later. Rudimentary, but it works well enough.

yojoe just saw this, I don't hang around much on this thread. You just have to let me know which older, smaller teen male buck body you looking for. I got a few of young miles, peter and kid nova.

I received the Luke and Danny 2-pack today.  I'm guessing this body will be used in the future for possibly Absorbing Man and another Sandman. This Luke figure is a good height for just that. I wished and wanted him as tall as Herald Thor but that's not happening. I was able to at least get him just slightly taller than Hercules. I didn't do anything special just switched his boots for the 3-pack Luke boots which were slightly taller. The switch of the boots gives him more range forward and back and side to side, too. I also gave him the fisted hands from the 3-pack Luke as well. I don't see Luke using brass knucks when his steel hard skin is almost impossible to penetrate.

Which 3pk are you talking about? Did you mean the Defenders 4pk?
