For those curious, this is what is underneath the Secret Invasion Nick Fury. My Target had them on sale for $7.50, so I got two to try and get the coat off. Maybe someone with more patience can me can take the coat off without cutting, but I just cut it.

Since its a coat, you can coat down the line and it could still be usable. I put a belt from the Articulated Icons strap to hold it, but you could probably just glue back together if you wish. The coat I tried on the SI Fury is from a Mattel Bruce Wayne I think. I might use the CM Fury coat and head and make a Shaft.

Finally - my Iron Man shelf is one step closer to complete!

Got her headsculpt from Ebay and painted it up. Not entirely thrilled with my work, but SO MUCH BETTER than the other options I was thinking about, even if this print is a little bit small. One side of her hair came broken off which actually allowed the thing to fit once I removed the peg from the neck.

Anyone have the Iron Man Mark V briefcase armor briefcase they aren't using? I want to give it to Happy on this shelf! 🙂

@schizm Your widow reminds me a bit of Geena Davis. It’s really annoying that the Mk V armour hasn’t been redone and that clean shaven Happy didn’t come with the suitcase, it would have been such a better 2-pack if they’d done an all original sculpt for Mk V instead of the easy monochrome Midas reuse.

I solved that - just bought the Revoltech Mark V. I've never owned a Revoltech product before, and if I hate it, or it doesn't work, I'll re-sell it. But keep the suitcase. 🙂

And aww man... now I see Geena Davis, too! 🙂 It's the lips. I was already thinking about reshaping them, but remixing that skintone is so difficult. That's already four layers. Skintone is so hard.

Thoughts/preference?

I'm leaning towards the Secret Invasion coat even though it open like this looks a little weird, but it has the upturned collar which is very Nick.

I just did a nice head swap to make Cecilia Reyes out of the Lee costume Psylocke. I just need to pain the neck and then I can post some pics.

I had a spare Love Triangle Jean upper body and VHS Jean lower torso and wanted a Jean with the shoulder pads from the new '97 figure. I sliced off the old shoulder pads from LT Jean and built the shoulders back up with procreate putty before attaching the new arms to the body. They're a tight fit but they work well, full rotation.

I took the long hair from the '97 figure and put it on ponytail '97 Jean and painted her eyes green and blushed her cheeks. Added two hair tendrils to the front of the hair and painted it up. I did the same for the extra ponytail head that I had.

All in all, I like the way it looks, sure the arms don't match in pictures but in person, it's very, very close.

Just a little bit of red and these look so much more accurate!

It's not an exact match on Rogue, but it definitely helps her look more like the show. I wish her belt hung lower - probably gonna cut it on the back so I can repo it but just a little bit of paint REALLY helps these two pop, especially Eve.

Uses a Lady Mandarin head from the new two pack to try out a more sinister side of Spiral with the heavily shadowed eyes, much like how I see her in my minds eye from the below Revelations cover. It wasn't as easy as I would have hoped as the Lady Mandarin headpiece is pegged into her chin as well as glued to the entire head,, so she had a cheeky genioplasty. The skin tones don't match between the head and the arms but it's nothing a darker wash wouldn't fix if the notion took me.

Does anyone have experience with removal of the pegless limbs and how to replace joints?  Got a cheap Uncanny 275 Forge and Gambit and wanted to swap out Forge's robo-leg with one of Gambit's, so I can avoid the black neck, while making a decent skin-toned neck / 2 blue & yellow legs to make a Joseph with the extra 97 Magneto head we got.  Is it as simple as boil and pop or are pinless swaps a major chore?

Looks great! Question - does the Psylocke hair work away from the mask/head? It kinda reminds me of the old X-Men Classics blowing-in-the-wind Psylocke hair and I was thinking I might swap it on, if the hair itself looks good. The bangs seem to be separate and it looks like it's fully sculpted.

If you're trying to seperate the leg at the thigh, heat and pop should work. If you wanna pop the whole leg off at the hip, that would be my recommendation, and also *should* come off, may just be harder to do. As I have not tried to part swap this new body, I don't know how hard it is to get those legs off the ball. But it wasn't impossible before, just a pain. Don't even try the knee. The construction of those now makes it basically a no go. Before, you could pop the pins out, and pull the leg apart to swap anything. Knees, lower, upper, you name it. Now, it's theoretically a whole lot of cutting, and gluing, and I'm not sure if it's even possible without permanently damaging the joints. You have to temporarily damage them, but it may be permanent with the plastic they use. The pinless joints I've taken apart were all hands or female elbows, soft plastic that moves and bends with enough heat. These new legs, I don't think that would work.

It comes off relatively intact and with some dremmel work it could be used on any other figure. I'm not planning on doing anything with it at present, but I saw this afew days ago from xmen.legends on Instagram if it helps:

Yep, that's exactly what I was thinking about! I don't think I like it enough to try. SO happy to know that before I spend all the time and waste the parts. Thanks!

That dude has some really cool customs and package mods.
