I really want an Iron Man 2 Natasha. The Infinity Saga Widow re-release isn't the right costume, but it's close enough once the holsters are altered and repainted (her legs were very smooth). But it's the hair that's really got me stumped - that's a very specific style she had. I don't even really like it, but I want to make it accurate. Here are two options I'm currently thinking, with a ScarJo head swapped in:

But neither is right. Or should I just spend the money and get a custom? I can sculpt a little bit of hair, but not a full head especially her style. Anyone have any other ideas? I tried a WW84 McF Wonder Woman but that did not work. 🙂

I was remembering her hair way shorter in that film but anyway when I went and looked at some photos to my eye at least I think that Agatha hair is actually pretty close for what its worth.

Couldn't think of any other place to put this question, but does anybody have a good suggestion for a civilian body for Steve Rogers? Maybe I'm forgetting a figure that could work but I can't mentally picture a base body that would fit.

Fox X-Men Logan with the jacket makes a decent civvie Steve. The skin tone may be a shade too tan, though.

Got a couple RXT project Siryn heads and cape and it upgrades the figure insanely.

I originally got the neutral head for her but stuck it on Phoenix for the time being. Her original hair was too dark and this might be too orange.

I like the cape, but I think everyone is kinda screwed when it comes to a screaming head for her. I haven't seen one yet I liked enough to consider. They all look anywhere from mediocre to just awful. And I don't think its the sculptors faults. I think it just may be hard to make a good screaming head for a female figure without it coming off as weird or sexual. While I would've liked hasbro to have attempted, after seeing alot of custom versions, I understand why they didn't. The neutral head does look really good though, for Jean or Syrin.

That’s the best screaming head I’ve seen, shadzcat. I like the neutral head on Phoenix too.

Thanks! I planned on using the neutral, but the screaming one really felt like Siryn. Might get a canofbeams sonic scream effect as a final add on. I think the anger in the face helps this sculpt, comparing to other ones I’ve seen.

I am not sure I love the new cartoon looking Goblin Queen - maybe I’ll test the head on her when she comes in.

I don't feel like I need Quasar or Ka-Zar from the Zabu wave, but I'm considering either one's head as a uncloaked head for the new Angel figure.  Looks like Ka-Zar would be the better option with the blonde eyebrows, but the hair on Quasar seems like it'd be the better hair choice etc.

They used Adam Warlock for the Archangel unmasked head. Is there any version of that with just plain skintone, not blue or gold? That's what I would use, just to keep it uniform with the other one. And looking at the figure with that head on next to me, it does look like a really good Warren.

@unclassified I'm guessing you're talking about Secret War Fury. I'd heat the arms and pop them off at the bicep swivel. Then I'd heat the coat and try to widen the collar opening to pull it around the shoulders. That's the hard part. Once you can pull it down past the shoulders, it should slide right off easily.

OK, I gave my previous answer from work, where I didn't have the figure handy. Seeing it now in hand, seems like pulling it down past the shoulders will be impossible because the collar area is too narrow. I think the other option amy be pulling the shoulders out of their sockets. While I can't confirm, it does look like they're like BAF arms, that click into place. I think a sufficient amount of heat may allow for the shoulders to pull out. I can't promise that won't damage the pegs though. But that's the only option I see to get the jacket off.

@normdapito I was trying that but the opposite way. I was wondering if the torso was two pieces glued over the arms or were they plugged in? I thought maybe someone would know what type of torso they used. Marvel is nit my main line and collect casually as of the last few years.  So I'm not familiar with all the body parts. I'll try the popping out of the torso. I just wanted to see if anyone had any answers. Thanks norm.

@unclassified I'm pretty sure Fury is using ABS plastic (the hard stuff) for the torso, and removing the arms is not a straight heat and pop. Fury's shoulder sockets are built like most BAFs, where the peg from the arm is a cone shape with a wider head at the end, which clips into a concave socket of "pincers" inside. On BAFs, there's enough give that you can usually pull the arms back out, but on these suited bodies, it seems much more permanent once the arms are in. I've managed to pull some out, but it's not easy and requires a lot of heat.

I had assumed that Invasion Fury had nothing but the oldest suit body under the coat and wasn’t worth getting or removing the coat of just to reveal that tired body again, but now I’m wondering if there’s a surprise underneath. I think I remember another suited body having something unexpected recently, maybe Mobius?

On the whole I’d really like them to implement a long term replacement to all the suited torsos of a sort thorax with a socket in the bottom and a ball joint at the waist like the recent Luke Cage, I think it would look a lot better than having a hinge in the ab crunch.
