I <3 Capt. Cook and his Kettle Chips!
Ooo...those designs for Carol and Monica are fantastic. Carol looks like a really nice blend of Mar-Vell's suit and her old Ms. Marvel/Warbird look. And Monica's outfit is always sharp, though I wish she'd have kept the "Spectrum" moniker instead of going back to Photon. Given the nature of her powers, Spectrum just seems to fit better.
Carol in black and gold and Monica in black and white would look great in those Ross designs.
That was the plan from what I can find.
Wow, those Monica and Carol designs are really striking. I don't get comic figures but I'd be really tempted to get that Carol to fudge as an MCU Dark Avengers Moonstone...
Is that supposed to be Gamora on one end, and Kismet/Her/Ayesha on the other end? That was the plan from what I can find.
Those Monica and Carol designs are very close to their movie looks!
I love the new MCU Carol figure, BTW. The belt really helps Brie "fit" the costume. I wish the hair on the braid side was a little further up to get rid of some of the forehead, but that figure is extremely nice.
I would like to see Warbird, Jim Lee Cyclops and Jean, green Phoenix and Psylocke updated.
Is this actually her new costume? I thought it was just for the Hellfire Gala.

Wow! Those are so rad, I’m shocked I’d never seen them before.

Definitely need a new Green Phoenix and 90s Psylocke (pinless!), along with jumpsuit Xavier. Wouldn't mind a properly done Iceman, mulleted Archangel and perhaps throw in X-Cutioner and Fitzroy in there somewhere. There are so many X-Men that I'd rebuy based on varying looks and whether they can actually do them properly. I think Hasbro knows this, but hopefully Hasbro also is aware that I don't buy their stuff much anymore until it's discounted.

I mean, I would think that last bit right there is why Hasbro won't be bothered catering to what you want. If they are faced with character selection choices they are probably better served finding characters that people that will pay full price will buy.

I think most would read my statement and come away with the fact that collectors are tired of the same unending reuse, some parts going decades on end, and Hasbro claiming "rising costs" why some figures don't even come with much more than extra hands if that. Realistically, what do hands (particularly the female ones which apparently never change) cost to produce for the umpteenth time all while raising prices and then acting like fans are "overly negative" because we collect other toy lines that somehow DO manage to include many of the various things we ask for. Not that a billion dollar company has some sort of vendetta against my character choices because I've pointed out some glaring faults that other fans take equal issue with. Would I like a Lilandra figure? Sure would. Would I like to be able to raise her arms more than Astonishing Emma Frost, who also can't raise her arms because of their wonky capes? Certainly. I'm just not in the habit of paying full price for "in-action figures."
I'm going to keep saying Psylocke here until Hasbro makes a good one. I'd take the Diamond Select one shrunk down to 6" or the Mafex one shrunk down to $30 too.
Jim Lee version is preferable but I'd take her armored "Outback" version as well.

I don't have hangups with articulation, but generally speaking I don't waste money on Marvel Legends. Even if the MCU didn't turn me off to Marvel I just find it a very boring line. Out of 100 figures maybe 3 interest me. Characters and designs, largely from the 90s or some newer stuff will either never get made, or be stripped down if they do.
Are the new Daredevil figures great?? Yes absolutely and I like the Ben Reilly Spider-man figures. But it's too much reuse overall. I won't drop $100 on impulse buys for 4 figures then want nothing else for like 18 months. It's not THAT good. Give me Starship Hulk and World War Hulk. I wanted a Ghost Rider retro line. Give me better Cable figures. 90s Spider stuff from the books. Idk, there's so much from the comics they could make and I just don't have a choice.
