No other breaks with either one, but both of the wrist pegs on Catwoman and Classic Harley have broken on me...Classic Wonder Woman is still fine, but it's definitely an issue with that female body. Harley's right wrist broke on the first hand swap I tried 🙃

Placed an order for Amazing Spiderman last night, so I should have it pretty soon! Despite some of the mixed reviews, I'm still really excited for this one: seems like a big improvement on the first Spiderman figure they put out, and I love the classic look. I will say that the lack of armpit webs on the costume feels like a missed opportunity, especially with this era/design, but it's not a dealbreaker by any stretch. They're just hard to incorporate with all plastic figures, and Mezco probably could've pulled something cool off with them.

The webwings are such a great design element. It would've been cool to see them incorporated here.

Has the hype died down on Doom already? I thought it was THE character that's suited perfectly for the Mezco treatment. I have mine in the PoL and haven't caught any reviews.

I don't know about the hype surrounding the figure, but I certainly was let down by what I saw.  Doom is one of my favorite villains and even though I think the price is unreasonable, I wanted to feel like I had to buy it.  Granted, I've only seen pictures, but the helmet face plate options all look weird to me.  I would also have really liked a more classic head, but I knew that wasn't happening.  I guess I can't complain about saving the money.

On the other hand, the more I see Spider-Man, the more I like it.  I was originally going to pass, now I just need to decide if I want to hold out and see I there's a price drop or just buy it soon.  He'll go great with Green Goblin (my favorite villains) who I already pre-ordered.

I posted my thoughts on Doom last page. I could take some pics but I’m only really good for comparisons, and I feel like those are available elsewhere. I’m not your guy if you want stellar action poses on diorama settings.  He does get my endorsement though. I enjoy him quite a bit and he does what he needs to do on my shelf. I can agree with captaincracker’s assessment of the mask, that’s probably the only spot I’d want to see something different. And including a wire in the bottom hem of his cape. But I’m otherwise very satisfied because he complements the Fantastic Four, Iron Man, and Dr Strange so well.

I think Doctor Doom is one of their best figures. The only thing that I don't really like is how the cape always looks flared and billowing; I would've gladly gave up the energy harness thing for an unwired cape.

Still have my apprehensions about this Spider-Man figure but it's looking good. Glad to see that the glasses are removable.

It seemed like the hype around the Haslab Hiss tank died down after about a week or so. At least in the thread here, it moved right back to figure discussion quickly.

Sometimes that's just how the collector mind works: "Got it. Cool. What's next?"

I got Doom about a week ago but I haven't had the mental fortitude to open him yet. Something about figures with a ton of accessories always intimidates me. I'm the same with MAFEX figures.

That Mezco Spidey is a weird one. Unless you're building a classic Mezco Spider-Man display, I'm not sure what niche he fills. He's smaller and less articulated than the MAFEX version. If Mezco figures are still as big as they were a few years ago, he might be severely undersized.

I'm loving the Amazing Spiderman, personally! So much fun to play around with and pose, and it really pops in person: love the colors on the suit, and the wide-eyed, Romita head sculpt just looks great. I've had all of the Mezco Spidermen (aside from the MCU ones) and this is easily my favorite of the bunch, though 2099 IS a very close second.

BBTS just sent the 'charging soon' e-mail for Spider-Man. The Green Goblin is listed as now shipping on Mezco's site, so images and reviews of him should be popping up soon.

In filling some gaps in my One12 collection, I picked up Magneto off a third party seller on Amazon. I like the figure enough, I'm just surprised he doesn't come with a lone helmet, one that doesn't have a head permanently attached. I would like to have displayed him with the non-helmeted head, holding the helmet. That's kinda where I lean with One12 X-Men, civilian/unmasked looks.

It's really time-consuming.  Over the past few months I've gotten Mafex Infinity War Iron Man Mark 50 ($189.99 MSRP with a bazillion nano gadgets), Mezco Fantastic Four ($420 MSRP with SO. MANY. ACCESSORIES), and Mezco Doom, and yep, it's all QUITE a lot.  Really has delayed my 2023 top 10 lists playing with those things.

But with Doom most of what makes him great doesn't take accessories, so just take him out and leave the accessories in the box for later.  In particular I'm glad I have that Cosmic Power Siphon, but it doesn't make for much of a display so that can easily be saved to pull out in a few months, years, or never.  Legends Doom from 2020 was Hasbro's best figure of that year, but this Mezco version blows it away even without accessories so just pull him out and forget the extras for a while.

Im of the same mindset of @normdapito on Doom here - and side by side comparisons to ML Dooms is what sealed the purchase for me.  It's the finishes and just overall look of the figure that does it for me.   The mask was holding me back initially.

I want a classic Byrne Doom head.  But comparing the Mezco Doom to the ML Doom's classic head - Mezco still wins out for me despite the style and sculpt. That was the final factor for me.   I bought this fully thinking that we will get a near perfect Doom from MaFex eventually though (hopefully).

Im with you @enigmaticclarity on all the accessories. While they are neat and fun and all,  I find that 90% of the time I don't even take them out of the boxes aside from maybe a hand swap or main character specific weapon (like Dooms pistol).  Power to those that enjoy all the bits, it's super cool that you get these options.  But yeah, I would be happy to leave them behind for a less expensive figure.

The accessories definitely aren't what make Doom "great".  I would argue it is just very good, being limited in articulation.  He can't even do the arms crossed pose he is doing on the box.  If anyone can get him to do that, please post a shot of it so I can see how it's even possible.

The cross arm pose is definitely impossible without camera trickery or dislodging an arm from a socket, but he's so incredible and menacing I'm not all that bummed about that. He can shake his fist in his "Richards!" manner and that's enough for me.
