@normdapito I actually received mine from Mezco, which makes it that much weirder that so many other people seem to have nothing from them yet.  In general, I'm trying my best not to order from them directly anymore.  I only did this time because I had a pretty substantial amount of rewards dollars to use.

Maybe I will just order from another retailer, let this PO ride at Mez, then flip it later if they actually fulfill?

That's what I'd do.  I don't know what the market is like for Mezco though.  Do they keep producing the figures after initial release, or do they do periodic re-issues?  Because if they don't I can absolutely see this guy going for double or triple MSRP in 6 to 18 months.

I've had mine from BBTS for a bit over a day, and I hesitate to say much about him because I haven't had time to play with most of the accessories yet and if I comment too much right now it will be too glowing.  My first instinct on day one was that he's the best action figure I own.  The other two best ones I own are Haslab Galactus and the 12-inch Legends Wolverine that Hasbro released back around 2018, but I can't decide if this guy is better than both.  Right now I lean towards him being better than Wolverine but not Galactus, but I may change my mind after fiddling with him more and testing a wider range of poses.

I got Doom along with Mezco Hela since BBTS has her on clearance for $48 now.  She's been in the back of my mind since she released in 2019, and wow, SO glad I finally pulled the trigger.  She's incredible.  Hasbro based their Hela upon the early concept designs that had her huge like she is in the comics, so as a result she's WAY bigger than they ended up making her in Ragnarok.  The Mezco is a definite upgrade.

In one of the reviews I watched the reviewer said Mezco delayed his order three times, and then cancelled it saying they were out of stock so he got his from BBTS.

Sorry, I messed that up a bit--it wasn't the original order that reviewer was complaining about, it was a replacement because his Doom showed up from Mezco with one of the magnets in the chest to support the cape not working at all.  He got his from Mezco a few weeks ago, and for weeks they told him he would get a replacement but ultimately a week or so ago they ended up telling him there were no replacements available so they offered him a refund.  Mezco having no replacements available doesn't imply that they won't fulfill pre-orders, so I'm sure you'll get yours.

Below is a link to the reviewer I'm referring to.  He details in the review how Mezco's customer service jerked him around.  He also describes how he's had more QC issues with Mezco over the last year or so than he used to see in the past.  Just based upon his experience I now lean towards third parties for Mezco since customer service for BBTS and EE are really good compared to what he claims he went through with Doom.

For a somewhat major player in the toy industry now, they're a surprisingly unreliable company.

I wouldn't order from Mezco directly because I don't trust them to deliver replacement parts if necessary. Not to mention them scamming people out of NRDs or canceling pre-orders for no reason.

As of four years ago, I had a huge Mezco collection. Because of the reasons above, I'm down to just Constantine and Doom, whenever he arrives.

I went ahead seconds after my post and ordered Doom from BBTS, still in stock fortunately, and shipped immediately. Even with the flat rate and tax, it came to about $5 less than what I paid at Mezco.

Mezco does NOT usually reissue pieces. Most of their figures tend to appreciate in value years later, until they come up with an upgrade (e.g. Spider-Man, the original black/red/modern version, vs the brand new Ditko version with more accessories, Wolverine had a similar basic first release and a deluxe new release with more accessories). In those cases, the originals were standard price, while the newer ones were deluxe inflated prices. Between the two, you could buy the older version that is probably going for more than original price, or the new one, which is in the same price range as the appreciated previous release with way more accessories.

I think it's crazy that Mezco can't follow through on QC issues with their own inventory while other retailers can. That must be happening at a loss for those third party retailers. I've never had issues with Mezco, and I've ordered a bunch direct from them (Popeye, Reeve Superman, comic Superman, F4, upcoming TMNT off the top of my head). No fulfillment issues, no QC issues. This is the first time, which may actually still resolve. But I'm not taking my chances.

I'm still waiting for my Doom from Mezco after having a payment info issue.  Updated it and even contacted them to make sure it was good to go.  They confirmed it was, but that was in November.

Their online shop is pretty weak, TBH.  I have had LOTS of issues with payment info there.

EDIT: just checked and it moved to SHIPPED this very morning.  FedEx label just created.

Uh, Mezco just sent an email that they shipped Doom too. What the honest fuck. Literally within a couple hours of ordering from BBTS to ship immediately, so I can't cancel. Just my damn luck. That is a lot of money to blow.

If they don't re-issue figures then you should profit greatly on that second one in a year or so.  I may buy an extra myself because it's difficult to imagine we see a better Doom within the next decade.

I only ever purchased exclusives directly from Mezco, and after the three year wait for '89 Batman, I resolved to no longer pre-order from them.  Also had to wait 2+ years for Gotham by Gaslight Batman, they charged way in advance, and did not ship until I contacted them.

Going forward, I'm doing wait list only so I'm not paying them anything upfront, and if it doesn't convert, so be it.  I might have a Shadow figure in a couple of years, or I might not.

My Doom via Mezco already arrived today (shipped from NYC comes quick). I even had to sign for it. It's definitely an impressive figure. I wasted no time opening it, even though the box was cold from the truck. The die cast parts had me not at all worried about snapping a joint, the cold didn't really affect the figure.

Needs a bit of messing around with to get the hood and cape exactly in the shape and drape I want. I don't understand why the wired cape lacks a wire along the bottom seam. I can see the issues people have with the head size, but I think it would be somewhat alleviated by having a longer neck. As is, he looks a little hunched. I swapped belts so he'd have the lower strap to hook the holster onto, but man, he looked so funny without that belt on.

I perused the accessories, but I'm a "pose once then put on the shelf forever" guy, so I didn't even take most out of the tray. I kinda wish he came with more spell-casting effects, since he has the spell-casting hands. Those kinds of hands, that versatility, are the kinds of things that drew me in. Like he'd look great taking on Dr Strange. He's hefty and tall, well proportioned to the One12 Iron Man and Sen-Ti-Nel Armorize Iron Man figures. And of course, he looks awesome with the Fantastic Four. He's just an awesome, universal villain.

It made me impulse buy classic Magneto off Amazon from a third party seller, but I didn't realize it was located in China, so that's taking forever. Magneto would only be my second One12 Marvel villain. But I think that's all I want right now. My shelf consists of just Cyke and plain clothes Logan, Iron Fist, Strange, Captain America, the Iron Man armory, MCU Punisher, Daredevil, and Black Panther, for lack of affordable 616 alternatives. I also have an extra Catwoman I'll be converting into a Black Widow. But I think that rounds out the collection well.

So BBTS was very cool and accommodating about letting me cancel that impulse back up Doom I ordered. Just wiped it from existence. Since it costs about the same, I instead ordered the LooseCollector Rocketeer set.

New Spidey is in stock at Amok Time, so hoping Goblin (solicited before Spidey IIRC) ships soon too.

I picked up a Catwoman on clearance at BBTS, and when testing the joints, the right knee just snapped. First time a Mezco One:12 ever broke on me, so pathetic feeling the limp, loose limb flop around under the costume. I contacted them and they are now out of stock, so they can't replace. I must have bought the last one? I purchased this with the intention of turning her into a Black Widow. Now it's just general fodder. I've never taken one of these apart.

That Catwoman figure was infamous for broken knees/elbows. I spent like 45 minutes cautiously articulating her joints for the first time. Total waste of time considering I replaced her with the vastly superior MAFEX figure a few years later.
