Everything I have ever heard indicates What If is probably getting a 3rd season

I don't mind What If? characters, but they have to be quite interesting or unique for me to get. I don't mind having Captain Carter for instance, at least until we get a live action figure (if we ever do). A totally new character like Kahhori I'd take as well. I just don't want or need the wave being stacked with What If? figures. They're fun, and heck, you could certainly make an entire wave of just WI versions, but there's too many missing live action holes to fill right now.

I definitely would love a Maria Rambeau figure, especially now that she's had a few different costumes, but I'm sure she's coming eventually. I keep getting tempted to buy the Rennslayer Funko Pop for the Miss Minutes, but I know as soon as I do, they're gonna announce a Legends version.

I saw a custom Kaecilius at a local secondhand store a few months back and I regret not picking him up. It wasn't the best looking custom (not that I could do any better), but it was clear who it was, and would at least have been a nice placeholder.

Had they used Mads' star wars head or something?

I enjoyed What If season one and will watch the new one. They're kinda fun. I don't even begrudge the figures. If people want em so be it, but I'm really trying for more of an effit attitude anyway.

But yeah, the MOM Illumiwhatti figures, even now, seem like such no brainers. Get em out before any more appear elsewhere because some of them definitely are. Then you can do kitbashed and repaints Hasbro! Must I figure everything out for you?

@ru1977 I agree, I made a couple of customs to throw on my "Multiverse" shelf.

Random thought... I've been enjoying the heck out of these NWH figures. With that said, I'm the type that loves to day dream about what's next. I'm insatiable if you will lol. And with hardly any MCU projects on the horizon I'm even more curious what Hasbro's play will be here. (I expect disapointment unfortunately) The Disney Plus waves have quickly become among my favorite when it comes to the MCU. I feel like a lot of great sculpts and characters have come from these 5 waves and it's exciting to know they would go back and fill holes with these waves (Ala Sharon, Jimmy. Etc) unlike the film waves. I've been somewhat frustrated with not having any WBN or Loki S2 representation and Echo is right around the corner too. It got me thinking we have had 2 D+ waves a year since this began in 2021... except this year.. so what are the chances that this NWH wave took the budget for a 6th D+ wave to drop this year? I guess only Hasbro would know the answer to that. But my itch for the next D+ wave is strong. I don't know why I'm getting my hopes up for it knowing it'll likely be littered with all What if S2 figures and maybe 1 Echo. Nevermind Reinslayer, OB, Darcy, Titania, Abomination, the list goes on and does not include anyone from What if lol. Anyways, I'm gonna go practice patience and enjoy these NWH figures lol.

I think X-Men 97 WAS our 2nd D+ wave.

Next D+ wave I would bank on an Echo figure, likely a new Loki from S2, and maybe other Loki S2 figures. Beyond maybe a couple other What If figures from S2, your guess is as good as mine

Very true, I had completely forgotten about the X97 wave. That makes sense, it's essentially a 6th D+ wave without officially calling it that so fans like me don't complain that it's full of animated characters lol.

With Agatha not coming until what I'd assume will be the 7th wave a 6th wave really could hit a lot of missing spots. Assuming it doesn't go to What if s2. Also, now that I've seen that little leaked video of the Agatha series I think I might want a second Agatha since her look appears to be even more comic accurate than Wandavision.

That's exactly my assumption. All What If except for an Echo and the BAF will be Victor Timely or something.

I dont think it's gonna be all What If plus Echo simply cause Loki is the most popular D+ show. I would be shocked if they don't have something in the wave to capitalize off that. Timely I can't see as a BAF cause they would just be using a suited body for that figure. He'd be a guy in the wave. Most D+ waves have had What If BAFs, so something like Sakaar Iron Man as BAF would be what I would predict. I hope for Abomination, but I think he ain't coming. I also think a She-Hulk Daredevil has to be coming soon. It's just a simple repaint and I am shocked he hasn't come yet.

So I would say if I were a betting man, I would predict Echo, Loki, Other Loki figure (best guesses Ravonna or OB....I think Timely is out cause of Majors), Yellow Daredevil, and 3 What If figures (take your pick) plus What If BAF

Timely as a BAF was partially a joke but I still see a live action BAF happening with a mostly animated wave.

My argument against any Loki figures is, while the show is popular and extremely well received, I feel it's likely Hasbro didn't anticipate that. I suspect we WILL get figures from Loki season 2, but not until 2025.

Loki S2 Jacket

Renslayer with Miss Minutes - S1 look

Echo

Daredevil Mustard/Ketchup repaint

Maybe a What If? Thor to complete S1 Mulitverse Avengers?

Maybe Widow for the same?

??? Darcy/Titania/Jen Walters would be my ideal picks

BAF - TVA Temporal Suit with two alt heads - spoiler and spoiler

I dont understand that thinking. Hasbro has more access to these things than we do, and if we can get ratings reports and online buzz for shows, certainly they can. Especially since Loki is a season 2 to the most watched MCU show (Loki season 1). I see no way Hasbro would be shocked people watch Loki, lol. Plus, we usually get something in these waves to tie into the new content. 1st wave last year had Moon Knight, Ms Marvel, and She-Hulk figures all ready . This year they had Secret Invasion ones in the last wave to tie into that new show. Loki, Echo, and What If will be most recent content released. So I expect the wave to cross into all 3. It isn't like next wave will come out when there is a content lull like the Khonshu wave did

@e-rock I want you to be right but I also tend to be really pessimistic when setting my expectations for these waves. That's partly because Hasbro does things that seem counter intuitive to me (and the Disney plus waves, more often than not, fall into that for me) and partly because of I'm wrong, I get to be pleasantly surprised.

It's also probably something to do with being so spoiled by the 2023 leak list and now having next to no idea what, if any, MCU plans they have for 2024.
