Got Electro. I don't mind the price hike that much. I'm sure they'll argue it was the likeness rights, or the amount of new tooling, or what have you. I'm just happy to finally have the NWH villain roster taken care of. I do wish he'd come with a flight stand, at least, but that's easy enough to get. I'm interested to see how his lightning compares to any of the other lightning effect pieces- sometimes they're nice and solid, but more often than not, they're a little unruly or droopy, depending on how you wrap the figure up in it. Part of me might have preferred a pre-sculpted electric effect, ala Classic Loki's green energy hands, but I suppose even more new tooling would've only driven the cost up more.
I don't know if it's the dark green/black and khaki or what but each time I see that Electro figure I keep thinking that it looks more like a GI Joe Classified figure with an electricity gimmick more than it represents a Marvel Legend.
@stephenwdavis Funny enough - I posted in the G.I. Joe thread that if the figure went on sale at a lower price I might grab it to strip it of the lightning and do a head-swap to hang with the Joe team.
I think Electro looks great but I've stayed away from the No Way Home villains thus far.
Figure looks great and I pre-ordered already. The price is probably due to the electric effects, and yes I think it is a tad steep. But I will deal with it lol

I agree it's steep but looks like he's getting a lot more than, for instance, the Ragnarok Thor figure had. I dunno, I fully expected deluxe pricing and was ready for $40 plus tax.
Any reason? They've all been excellent quality figures. Ock and Osborn in particular are high points.I think Electro looks great but I've stayed away from the No Way Home villains thus far.
@normdapito running out of display space! I have one empty shelf earmarked for new MCU figures so I'm trying to be more selective these days.
If I were to skip, it would be to hold out for 'real' MCU designs but I'm not so sure they'll ever do other versions of these villains. Or by then, I may be too old and feeble to care heh. I do like the figures they've done so far and really looking forward to having Electro on the shelf with them. I will likely never watch the movie but I'd take a Kraven just to finish the team...
Yeah, I don't think Electro is going to be a high priority to do again in the MCU. Ock or Norman maybe have a chance.
The Green Goblin figure from NWH is one of my favorite legends figures I have.
Yeah, at this point I'll be happy to get other characters. Hobgoblin has always been my favorite Spider-Man villain so I'd love a great version of him onscreen (not just a repaint of Green Goblin, and also the mob enforcer angle), but also Black Cat, Scorpion (finally), Beetle, Tombstone, and the Rose.
Do we need a Thunderbolts* thread? Just watched the new trailer. They didn't show the full suit, but Sentry looks to be completely comic acurate. Just a shame the guy has dark hair. Not gonna lie Sentry without blond hair kinda sucks.
His hair is sandy brown. But, y'know, TBD*.
*way more accurate than Steven Yuen would have been!
