New BNW trailer out. Still not seeing a good look at The Leader in it. So not so sure when we would see that hypothetical figure of him, assuming its coming still

The new trailers for BNW and Thunderbolts look pretty good. BNW is a cool trailer, but for some reason, I'm still not feeling too excited about that one. Not sure why. Thunderbolts doubles down on the Suicide Squad feel, but I dig it. I appreciate them trying something a bit new, and at the very least, it looks fun. Obviously I don't know anything about the film, and I know trailers aren't anything to go off of necessarily, but I'm worried at

Spoiler
Thunderbolts trailer talk
how little Taskmaster is in the trailer. I didn't mind the switch up for the character, and I'd love for her to get a moment to shine that could change the audience's mind. Would be a shame if she's just a quickly killed cameo.
Trailers are tricky nowadays- they're either quite misleading or they give away all their tricks, subtly or not. I guess we'll see!

I'm happy with Deadpool, Wolverine, and Colossus, but that (and Feige's comments about mutants this weekend) convinced me to hold off on the DOFP Storm if the 2025 rumor list is true.

but that What if trailer again frustrated me because I know the season will be full of stuff I'd love them to do live action style. Doesn't even have to look like the actual actor, just make it not look cartoony at least.

I'll still snag all of the Fox X-Figures if the list proves real. I know they won't be the characters/actors going forward- sans maaaybe Kelsey Grammer back as Beast- but they were still formative enough to my childhood years that they deserve a spot on the shelf. I still love Halle Berry as Storm, even if the movies never really let her truly shine. I mean, same can kinda be said of all of them- they were more "Wolverine featuring the X-Men" movies than true X-Men movies. I digress. The first movie's toy line was the first time I remember really hunting down the entire assortment of figures. I'm cool keeping them as a Multiverse version on the shelf or something. Spider-Man and X-Men were the formative Marvel properties for me as a kid, so I tend to still collect most of their stuff.

I stopped collecting all the What If? figures and offloaded most of them, but I'd give consideration to that Storm if they ever made her. Cool to see the first technical MCU appearance, even if it is a Multiverse variant we'll likely never see again. At least they got Alison Sealy-Smith back!

@joshsquash729 i respect that. I watched the X-Men movies but never got all that into them. Even if the movies were all awful, it wouldn't matter to me if they had better costumes, but the black leather isn't going on my shelf. I finally got to one-per-character so I gotta hold out for a version closer to my ideal. But if you have a connection to them, then hell yeah. Even though I'll probably skip the wave, I'm glad they're doing more movie figures at least.

I'm paraphrasing, after I had a few also so I urge you to Google, but he was saying Deadpool and Wolverine are characters they plan to use more, and they're planning for mutants to be a big focus after they finish the multiverse saga.

Endgame Cap and FFH Spiderman are the latest reissues, like the Endgame Iron Man and Iron Spider they did.

I understand they are reissues with very little deviation from the original releases - but it's a shame Hasbro didn't do a run of the updated Far From Home suit with printed web lines as they did on the re-issued No Way Home suit in the 3 pack. I would definitely have picked up one or 2 had they done that. At least the last Endgame Spider-Man came with new fists.

I guess the Captain America will have the same blues as the 2-pack release... lighter blue. Again - would have been cool if for this release they used a darker blue and given the chest armor a bit of a sheen like the 80th Captain America had.

This is assuming these are a new batch of factory runs, of course. The slight improvements would have translated into far more sales, I bet.

Right, something to tempt us to dip again. Maybe a shattered shield?

HOW has Hasbro not done the broken shield yet? I bought a 3D printed one but it shattered even further when it fell on the floor, so I haven't done it yet. But, like, how have they not done that accessory? They love shields with holes!

I didn’t know where to post this, but Funko have released images of Pops from the upcoming Cap movie, including first look at The Leader, albeit in Funko form…yeah.

I'm just relieved they didn’t do anything to try and make him look cool. What a drag that would have been.

Where you posted was fine, but just for the sake of posterity I also quoted it in the MCU thread.
