I won't say I'll quit the line if they make Thing a BAF but I'll HEAVILY consider it until the preorders go up. I'm not even sure I want Doom, or if he will even be in the wave, so I'm looking at getting half the wave then another $75 or so for what could be a $40 deluxe.  The more I think about it, yeah, returning to that model may be enough to push me out. Getting a taste of fun and enjoyment with another line really opened my eyes here.

I think the era of BAF waves mixed with film and comic characters is a thing of the past. They could have easily done that for D&W - the three film characters we got plus any comic X characters or Mercs to round it up to 7.

As far as we know there is no Cap BNW BAF wave.

FF will be the main 4 and maybe a villain.

Thunderbolts will be the entire team.

There has been so much debate regarding the mixed waves, I can totally see Hasbro deciding to keep them separate.

I don't think the era is over - it makes too much sense for Hasbro balancing out new tooling with characters that require almost none.

It's just they don't want warehouses full of merchandise they can't send to stores because the movie changed release dates AGAIN.

Let's see how things shake out with FF (Thing will just be a deluxe for $44.99 by next summer 🙄) and Thunderbolts before saying it's dead.

I dont think Thing will be a deluxe. Last FF wave they did for comic based figures had a Thing that was standard price. I think he will be standard price. Being a deluxe is possible, though.

Doom will not be in the FF wave. Doom is probably a post credits character of if he is in the movie, a flashback cameo or something. Doom will get his first figure with the Avengers Doomsday wave.

We know there will not be.  Ryan and Jesse said during their 1027 stream this week that they considered it but decided against one.

Oh. My. Gosh. So Disney Plus just dropped a teaser for their upcoming projects including Daredevil, Iron Heart, Wonderman, and some animated stuff. It plays at the beginning of Agatha All Along episode 1. It may be on YouTube by now, not sure. Anyways, they HAVE to bring the Disney Plus wave back!! There were so many little goodies in the trailer! The trailer alone could fill at least 3 D+ waves plus the backlog of characters we never got. Like I HATE to put this much "hope" into Hasbro right now but they have got to pull their heads out of their tushies and get this ball rolling again! Maybe I'm being dramatic but I can literally feel in my gut that the MCU is about to SLAP and find it's footing again. And I need Hasbro to match that energy. I swear if they only do a couple of figures from Daredevil and completely ignore Iron Heart, Wonderman, and Echo i'm done lol. Ugh, I hate to have such high hopes but I'm just excited for the MCU and I'd like to feel the same about Hasbro again. 

@joshuakat I agree with you but at this point if they only do a couple figures from Daredevil, I'll consider myself lucky. I've been conditioned to appreciate my scraps.

I thought the teaser looked pretty good too! Lots of interesting things ahead. Aside from maybe Daredevil and Spiderman, nothing that I'm particularly dying to see, but I'll definitely watch all of them. I honestly forgot most of those shows were a thing; poor Ironheart feels like it's taken forever to get going. I can see Hasbro taking perhaps a more measured approach to things- see what fan reaction to each is like before deciding to go all out on something. If they go all out on anything, it might be Marvel Zombies, since a lot of that could utilize existing parts. But I'm excited for what the Daredevil stuff could bring. I offloaded my Netflix figures a while back, but I'd love to have at least a Daredevil and Punisher back in the display.

I have no doubts that once the MCU is back in full swing, the figures will flow. Maybe not quite as many as before, but enough to keep us satisfied. I hope one of the changes involves more of a relationship with the MCU and Hasbro. I know they're still aiming for secrecy, but at least sharing changes as they happen regarding costumes and designs and all that. I know we'd love to get screen accurate looks right away, and I'm sure Hasbro would love to not have to spend money making a redo later down the line too.

I feel you but this collection has been an investment that I've pumped thousands of dollars into since 2014, I can't accept scraps. I know you've sold off a lot of your collection so I see where you're coming from. Let's just hope we're both pleasantly surprised going forward. With Hasbro that's a 50/50 chance lol. 

@joshuakat Oh, same here! I don't even wanna know what I've spent on my collection, and no doubt will continue to spend going forward! I'm just paring back a bit and curating my shelf- think more "fast casual" menu than "diner menu", which has everything under the sun. 🤣  But there's still gonna be those specials and promos that boggle the mind. I plan on going all out on the FF figures, for instance, quality of the movie aside. It's been nice having a little break, but Joshy needs his plastic.

And I feel you as well. And there's a part of me, that I'm probably trying to bury, that is also hopeful. But at this point, I'm down to hoping for the Fantastic Four and the Giant Sized X-Men team (along with Rogue and Kitty) in costumes as close to the comics as the D&W Wolverine figure. If they bring in Hobgoblin and Alpha Flight, and do figures, major bonus. If they do Echo, I'll be very pleasantly shocked. but yeah, I'm definitely ready to take any excuse to jump off.

@ru1977 That's how it always goes! The ol' "I'm gonna jump off, unless they give me this, this, and this. And maybe in doing so they'll win a bit of trust back, so I'll buy a few more just because, and then before I know it, I'm back in fully." 🤣  It's happened to me one too many times, so I don't judge. I keep telling myself to be strong, but also I gotta be realistic. So I'm just taking it release by release, and seeing which ones I really feel the need for.

I hope the D+ releases come back in full force. I just don't know if they will. I am assuming I am not getting previously unmade characters from old shows at this point. If I am wrong and we do, I consider it a bonus. Heck, I am pessimistc about getting u made movie characters at this point. Also concerned that the Leader isn't getting a figure since there is no wave now. Which will annoy me on my bad guy front 

@joshsquash729 I completely understand what you're saying haha. I've had past collections that I've gotten rid of as a kid only to see the collection revamped decades later or I fall back in love with a franchise and I'm left WISHING I had never gotten rid of the old collection. I will never make that mistake with the MCU Legends. These guys are with me for life from Jimmy Chu to Thanos everyone stays. I'm a completionist at heart with the MCU. I don't have to have multiple versions of a character but I definitely need at least 1 of everyone. For me the limit does not exist lol.

@e-rock hopefully considering that leaked list has been true thus far the Leader is happening and is just being held back for spoilers. I suspect he won't be held back until his reveal in the film because I have suspicion he'll be revealed in a future trailer. At which point I could see him being a fan channel or Amazon release type thing. As long as he isn't Walmart or Target, yikes. 

Honestly, I was happy to see B15 show up in D&W because some D+ characters can get made via their future film appearances. I'd say aside from half the Loki cast if they just do Darcy, Echo, Werewolf, Elsa, and Titania I'll consider the past shows done. I guess. Darcy continues to show up in films so I'm still hopeful. It'll definitely be interesting to see what happens. I kinda hope we're wrong about the D+ waves being gone and Xmen 97 just took over momentarily. Time will tell I suppose.
