For me, the only movie/tv figures that I've bought since X-Men '97 is Legacy Wolverine with the white tank top and still don't know why I bought that.

Before that it was the Infinity Saga Bruce Banner, War Machine and 2 Iron Men. Again in retrospect maybe should have passed on these.

Before that it was the Hydra Stomper D+ wave, so it's been a while. I still see this full wave at my local Gamestop every time that I go there, still for full price. Was able to pick up some multiples of ones that I wanted when Target clearanced them out at $7.49 each. Agatha was the star of that wave for me. Not crazy about the rest, although I did like the Talos also.

So I'd say that the last MCU figure that I bought and am glad to have bought was probably Agatha. I'm looking forward to the Outriders 2-pack though!

I'm still mildly surprised that we never got a D+ wave with Echo, Werewolf by Night, and Kahhori, among others. I'm guessing the sales on the recent D+ waves were just so abysmal that they decided to not do those anymore although I would expect that Disney+/Marvel would be pushing Hasbro hard to do those....

Without devoting too much thought, I think Echo is my biggest D+ want anymore. Really disappointing we don't have her yet.

Maybe Carnage, if you count him. And bought him.

I didn't buy Carnage. I already have the Figuarts one. So I didn't need him.

Bruce was only figure I bought in that wave. I did get the Hydra Stomper wave. I am disappointed that it seems the D+ waves are just X-Men 97 waves now it seems. I am sure they sell better, but not my avenue for collecting

Hey everyone! Just got my Man-Thing today. As silly as it is, I was kinda in my feels opening him... I keep a yearly list of all my MCU Legends purchases in my phone. I note down the date I received it, the place I bought it, the wave it was a part of, and the name of the character. Every year I start a new page. And wouldn't you know it, here we are 3 quarters of the year in and Man-Thing is the FIRST MCU figure on my 2024 list. That's kinda heart breaking haha. My last MCU figure ended 2023 with Doc Ock and Banner. At the very least this year could have given us Echo, Werewolf, Elsa, Ravonna, B15, OB, and Darcy. And the worst part is, no one is saying why we haven't gotten any of them. 16 years in and Werewolf and Echo become the first title characters to not receive a Legend figure. And I thought not getting the title villian was tough haha. And unfortunately these leaked list aren't looking any better for characters that aren't insanely popular. I mean, Cap4 looks promising as far as a full wave goes but Deadpool was bare bones and Daredevil and Punisher are a given. Idk man, if Hasbro would just speak on the change in pace it could go a long way to soothe concerns.

Anyways, I'll enjoy my cute litte werewolf-less Ted with his little painted flower and tiny mushrooms for now haha. And look forward to pre-ordering the Outriders tomorrow.

I did see Man-Thing at GameStop yesterday, and he looked nice enough, but I held off for now. Chances are he'll hit a sale somewhere eventually, and I'd like to save money if I can. Maybe once I see some photos or video reviews, I'll change my mind, but for now, I'm cool holding off. It's the same with Banner- I'd really like to get him eventually, but for a plain figure that's mostly reuse and has no accessories, I can't justify spending that much on him.

Super stoked for the Outriders set tomorrow, though. Think I'll just grab one set to start; can't go too crazy on the army builders just yet.

So,  it's honestly hard to see the pull back on MCU figures as Hasbro's fault exactly.   The entire MCU release schedule has been a bit of boondoggle and so for Hasbro whose  lead time on figure waves is over a year it's extremely difficult to plan effectively around those release dates

Additionally, the only MCU movie released so far this year -  Deadpool and Wolverine - had a veil of secrecy on it such that Hasbro couldn't pre-plan tie in figure products.    They obviously want to go into production with more toys now that the movie is a huge hit -  but I'm sure they would have LOVED to have had a full movie wave plus two packs and extras ready to go as soon as the movie was out, but they weren't allowed to.

I understand why people want an Echo figure on their MCU shelf but my understanding is that at Marvel Echo performed so poorly that they are almost pretending it doesn't exist.

The MCU - until Deadpool - had lost a ton of momentum, and it's constant reshuffling of the schedule absolutely torpedoed Hasbro's ability to pump new MCU figures onto the shelves.

Now, of course that doesn't mean they couldn't have tried to go back and fill in the blanks on some missing characters from previous movies - but let's be totally honest -  how supportive would retail be for a line of figures featuring  Whiplash, Ancient One, and the Warriors Three?

I get all that, but I don't care if I'm the only person in the world who watched the Echo show; I'd like a figure of her, heh. Will she sell out and make hasbro a bunch of money? I'd be shocked if so. Still want that figure.

Oh for sure... I'm not telling you not to want it.   Just outlining why you aren't getting it.     But hang in there - maybe you will.   Maybe the Daredevil show will do so well they'll do a Daredevil theatrical film after that and Echo will appear and she'll get a figure then...

I mean, I'm the poster boy for Marvel Legends hope.  Hasbro has been a loin cloth and a new head away from a comic M'Baku for 5 years now and still no joy for me, but I don't give up hope 😬

Right. Well, these days I'm not counting on getting much beyond any characters with their name in the title of the project. If that. I see comic-style guys talking about skipping figures of characters they want because they're holding out for the ideal costume, and I watch from the window like a filthy orphan while my stomach is growling "oh, wtf!"

In short, I envy. But I know the grass always appears greener.

All info I saw regarding Echo was positive on the viewership and that a second season was on the table. Unless that narrative changed, that was last I heard.

@e-rock i honestly haven't even paid attention. I know some felt Marvel had no confidence because they released it all at once, but I feel some D+ shows would be more satisfying as a binge than weeklies. It wasn't perfect but I definitely enjoyed it more than Hawkeye, aside from any scene with Yelena Belova heh.

I think it technically had lower views than several D+ shows, but it was also less expensive than those shows by a significant margin and was TVMA. So I think it was well regarded relative to those factors last I saw
