@e-rock I get that. It's like people who want the exact 1978 Darth Vader figure, not a new version or updated or screen accurate, but the thing they remember and love. Even though it sucks. In my opinion heh.
I forget sometimes just how royally screwed the X-Men movies were in the figure department. They went all out for that first X-Men movie back in 2000 and gave everyone at least one figure, if not more (even gooey Senator Kelly got a "figure" as a pack-in with Jean. It was a whole LINE of toys and playsets, not just a wave. After that, X2 only gave about 5 characters figures (no female characters at all), and X3 was part of a ML wave and had 4 figures total. After that, bupkis. None of the newer films got even a single figure (until the ML anniversary wave gave us McAvoy Charles and Fassbender Erik a few years back). I know they weren't everyone's cup of tea, and at least the first 2 movies kinda took people by surprise, but I still think figures would've sold at least decently well. I know some of it was just the changing market at the time, but still- it kinda boggles my mind that nothing was made for those films.
I kinda hope the X-wave listed above is the original movies. I still have all my old X-Men 2000 figures in a box somewhere and they're nice enough, but definitely seem like almost 25 year old figures. Those movies are probably the ones most folks, older and younger, remember when they think X-Men movies (I always forget there were 4 movies made in the First Class timeline), and they deserve their due. That said, I'd also really like some more (any) figures from the newer movies too. It's nice having McAvoy and Fassbender, and I know chances of a Lawrence Mystique are slim to none, but still. If they are the older films, we gotta get at least one more wave with Rogue, Iceman (his only figure being a super hard to find X2 figure seems wrong), Sabertooth (can double as a D&W version if done right), Toad, and whoever else (I'd happily take a Pyro and Lady Deathstrike).
I can only assume the wad they blew on X1 wasn't as successful as they expected, but even pulling back with X2 didn't pan out so well either, so they mixed in some stuff with the regular waves. Maybe parents weren't feeling the toys at the time? And now kids at the time are adults and collect for themselves, so yeah... these should do better than those.
Sabretooth, Pyro, and Lady Deathstrike are three I'd probably get. Maybe we'll get a new Sabretooth in the MCU, but the other two I'm not so sure. And even then, would Hasbro make a figure sometime in the decade after they appear?
I'd be VERY happy if they McAvoy/Fassbender these and do Apocalypse final scene figures with extra heads of the original trilogy actors. I'm not even sure how keen the Hasbro guys are on doing the original movie black suits since they had a chance to do so with the anniversary series but stuck to Wolverine's non-costumed look each time.

Also - wasn't the switch from Toy Biz to Hasbro between X2 and X3? I'm pretty sure the strategy change might have also had something to do with that? Toy Biz went all out on the X-Men movie and I feel like those did pretty well. With X-2 I think they invested even more - they tried different things. I'm not sure that line was quite as well received.
Then the handover to Hasbro happened and the X3 figures got folded into the Hasbro ML wave - with Juggernaut and Jean in the Blob wave, Beast in the Annihilus wave and Collosus... I can't remember where he landed. And wolverine in a couple of two pack releases I think. Anyway, that was all a bit of a mess.
The X2 line had 2 waves I think. I had most of them from the movie. I think from 2nd wave I only got Iceman, which I have no idea where he is as of today. I do wish I had gotten trenchcoat Cyclops though
I sold all of those off except for Nightcrawler and Dark Phoenix.
I wouldn't *mind* a set back on my shelf, but unless they're going to do everybody I don't want anybody. I already have trouble finding a place for Mystique!

Exactly how I feel. I didn't get any of the 2012 Avengers until they did the Widow figure in the Winter Soldier wave. But had to grab Colossus and Wolverine in case they do actually end up doing everyone. But my "at the very least, these" list is the movie versions of the Giant Size team. Then Kitty, Rogue, the rest of the original team, and so on.
We know Hasbro will inevitably be doing a new Daredevil figure for Born Again, but hopefully they make White Tiger too!
White Tiger has been on my list for years now, so I am thrilled. But I also hope the White Tiger concept is spun off to its own show and you get the whole family etc, and yes I want figures of each one. Also, several Daredevils please.

The X2 line was incredible. Massive upgrade over X-Men 1. Closer to 6 inch scale, great articulation. A few of the Wolverines had some rough action features which hindered the overall quality - but the Wolverines, Cyclopses, Magneto, Iceman and Nightcrawler were phenomenal figures. They've aged pretty well. I definitely got multiple of the Wolverines and Cyclops... I think I turned a trenchant Cyke into a movie Gambit...
I love Hector and can't wait for his inclusion. Don't like that mask, though--would've been better to keep it simple and clean.
Hot Toys did a new die cast Iron Man Mark 50 from Infinity War and it really made me wish Hasbro would do a new figure. The Iron Men I have are from Avengers, Age of Ultron, and Endgame, so it would be cool to have the 50 as well, but the body always looked weird and the head looks wrong. I know we prefer new characters over better versions of already done figures (no sarcasm), but I'd get that if it was the Legends equivalent of that Hot Toy.
BBTS just notified me I am gonna be charged soon for Man-Thing
Hoping we get a leak soon that can maybe confirm a non X-Men 97 D+ wave. I am hoping Daredevil at least has enough interest for Hasbro to make some figures from it and maybe a new full wave for the MCU shows
