@enigmaticclarity That definitely would make sense.
Man, remember when all of you guys were so aggravated about this wave maybe never coming out? Psh.
Yeah, I'm expecting some official announcement either the weekend of or the week after. Maybe they want to give people a chance to see the movie first? For some reason, a 2 pack seems inevitable to me, and maybe that's where they'll stick sleeveless Wolvie? Otherwise, I wonder if any of the arms from the comic figures are easy enough to swap in. Every time I see the 85th Wolvie, I think of Hugh for some reason. I know the costumes are different, but the head to me seems like a cross between the comic version and Hugh, so maybe those arms would work?
Regardless, assuming the figure above is real, the fact that they're already trickling out (or at least ready to go) in Hong Kong means hopefully they won't be too far out.
I always knew it was coming. Was just a matter of when. I also always knew it had movie product, lol!
But we don't have any like....comic figures I know of pending a wave like we have seen in the past when they revealed the comic Figs in a movie wave. So is this an all MCU wave?
I guess if there's no BAF element to the wave, they can easily just release a couple one-off figures. No need for an entire 6-7 figures, really. Deadpool and Wolverine are both characters that are almost guaranteed to sell on their own without the added help, so I can see them skipping a full wave.
As usual with movie figures, I'm sure Hasbro was working from early promo art, as all the promo art I've seen atleast, has the sleeves. Sleeveless is something that only came about when we saw actual footage. They'll surely trot out a sleeveless variant down the line, but it'll only be a happy coincidence that they can reuse the majority of the mold, not some devious calculated ploy.
Are those things on his arms short sleeves, or are they just shoulder pads? Or maybe there are super-short sleeves under the pads? If they're just pads those might be removable.
I was thinking the shoulder pads may be done the same was as the shoulder armor on the newer Stormtroopers in Black Series. They're a separate piece from the actual shoulder socket and not attached to the torso either, but fit around the knob.

This is what I've been thinking for awhile. I don't know if there will in fact be a full "wave" of figures or if there even needs to be. It was clear there weren't any comic figures mixed into a wave or they would have already been shown. No reason to hold those back. Hopefully they will unveil it all at the show next week.
I think it has to be a wave of some sort. Usually if it's 1 or 2 figures, then it's some kind of exclusive. Also I think the prior leaks have listed it as a wave. So I am seeing maybe a 6 figure non-BAF wave.
To consult the leaked list:
Here's what's left from the rumored lists and influencer videos:
MCU
Deadpool 3 wave
Deadpool Movie Colossus Deluxe Figure
Brave New World Deluxe Figure #1 - Sam Wilson Captain America
Brave New World Deluxe Figure #2 - ?
Brave New World Deluxe Figure #3 - ?
Brave New World wave
Beyond The Spider Verse wave
Thunderbolts wave
Red Hulk - deluxe figure
The Leader
I am referring to this list. Says it's a wave, and I don't remember anytime they did a just 2 or 3 figure wave in recent times.
So more akin to the second NWH wave? Or even an Infinity Saga wave.

Other parts of that list were slightly off - like Mystique in the Destiny 2-pack - and obviously most of the movie waves aren't coming this year - so it is possible the term "wave" was an interpretation of product coming but isn't exactly like "waves" we are used to seeing.
It's certainly possible it's a standard 6 figure wave. But there's a chance it's something else as that list hasn't been infallible.
I still say the Cap 4 stuff can be this year, if they keep with the pattern of putting out figures a couple months before the movie is released. You know, that pattern they... never use anymore.
