The only reason I can think is they don't get character designs for this movie until the film's release because Marvel is so worried about spoilers.

It makes no sense that all other licensees got costume photos in time to make stuff EXCEPT Hasbro.
I wonder if when Marvel changed the whole release schedule so late Hasbro just decided to back off entirely from MCU releases - except for the easy Logan/Deadpool re-releases and the Hot Claws Wolverine they either re-ran or redelivered to Target.

@schizm exactly. Hasbro pays more to Disney than any of those other outfits so it would be really bizarre if Hot Toys could make a Wolverine but Hasbro could not. At this point, if there is nothing to show for the movie then it might be a business decision from Hasbro. Perhaps they wanted to see how the movie was received, or maybe Marvel would only let them do Deadpool and Wolverine, but they want to do an entire wave. Or, the designs weren't handed over to them in time to have figures out for the movie so they just decided to take a wait and see with it.
Not getting Wolverine from this movie - especially the sleeveless and masked version - would be a massive miss. I'd be fine waiting, but would rather not have to wait a few years like we did for the Final Swing Spidey costume.
Rektangular on Instagram posted what seems to be the Wolverine figure found in Hong Kong. They're not sure if it's a really well made custom, though, since they're covering up the product number in the photo. Real or not, it definitely makes me want it on my shelf! And apparently there's some Hulk boxes in the back? I can barely tell, but if so, it adds fuel to the "maybe fake" fire to me- seems a bit too convenient, but Imma hope for the best!

Nearly shed a tear of joy seeing that pic. Glad to finally get some further confirmation that these are coming. Like Ru said, I’ll take this guy and a sleeveless version any day.
I bet this is one of those releases where they announce it and the figures are immediately in stock. That has happened with several MCU waves.
Looks pretty legit to me. And not including some optional bare arms is certainly a Hasbro move so they can sell you two.
