@joshsquash729 It's funny how weird it is to watch a movie like that now, since I've been giving myself permission to see these movies as utter toy commercials for so many years now. But I've really been trying to get over that, like getting rid of all my Eternals and most of my Guardians, despite really enjoying all of those movies.

But yeah, I do expect a MOM situation more than NWH with Deadpool & Wolverine. And I'll give it some time, but I've always said if I don't get figures of movie versions of my mutant wishlist, I'll end up seeing my marvel collection as incomplete and probably sell everything off. I know that sounds extreme, but I have a plan so I'll abandon it if I can't finish it. (To be fair, my 'must have' list is, I feel, the likely characters, like the Giant Size team, Kitty, and Rogue.)

I could see that potential character being a very good candidate for a store exclusive. If that's real.

Speaking of NWH - where the heck are Electro and Lizard? We've let the fervor on those die down and I still want all five villains and Aunt May!

Maybe an Electro/Lizard/May three pack?! I wish. Add in a Slimed Spider-Man if we must.

@schizm I hear you. I still have the ASM Lizard from years ago so.... it will have to knock my socks right off for me to get a new one, but I still have a flightstand next to Sandman waiting for Electro, damnit!

@joshsquash729 I would anticipate the unannounced characters that appear in the movie are the ones we'll have to wait on. Disney probably didn't let Hasbro in on those details so it's likely to be a NWH situation there. If I were a betting man, I'd say odds are good we get figures of Deadpool and Wolverine, and if they have a whole wave for this year it will consist of characters from Deadpool 2 and maybe Cassandra Nova, since she's featured in the trailer. And then as long as that stuff does well for Hasbro and the movie is a hit, we'll get more next year.

I'm a little disappointed by my own assumption that it's likely Hasbro and Hasbro alone that has even been privy to that much info so as to have figures out this year. I'm really curious to see what Bandai does in response to the movie. I'd love a reissue of the bright red Deadpool suit in the SHF line with most of the stuff that came with the Deadpool 2 figure along with some Deadpool 3 specific items. At least the Legends figures will tide me over. It's also nice to see that Hasbro's Jackman portraits have turned out so well as I could see myself double-dipping on Wolverine by displaying the ML without the mask and an import figure with it, should one materialize.

I got that Whiplash today. He's about Iron Monger height. Articulation is also VERY limited on the elbows and knees. Maybe goes 45 degrees on each one. But visually, looks great. I still want a Monaco Whiplash, but I hope ZD Toys will make an Abomination or something to help make characters Hasbro clearly isn't doing and get these IS villains done

No problem! Yeah, bigger characters like Destroyer or Kurse I think these will easily fudge. But like, Malekith and such I am betting would look out of scale. I also would pounce on Abomination or Kurse or Destroyer

Whiplash looks great - no regrets on adding this guy to the shelf. Never owned a Revoltech figure before but had to get IM to go with him, and get the snazzy briefcase. 🙂

Now I need a donut and donut box to go with that Tony up top. 🙂

He is definitely too big, but in the way that most MCU Thors are too big where I'm kinda into it.

I mean, at least it works because he's in a suit of armor. If it was just a giant Mickey Rourke, that would be something totally different (though also not necessarily a bad thing).

Looks like we're getting a Werewolf by Night Man-Thing! Color version, of course. I'm sure if they do ever do a Black and White, it would be as an exclusive of some sort. Nice to see they haven't fully forgotten about that show! Pre-orders go up Thursday

FINALLY! The drought is over… Loved the WBN special, glad to see them get around to this. Really hoping this means we have a WBN figure on the horizon!
