I watched a Rektangular video with sound off but the closed-captioning was kind enough to capture all his 'uh's and 'um's at least. But he says the BAF for the Cap 4 wave is

Spoiler
Cap 4 wave BAF
Red Hulk

I know that figure was already on the leaked list and I think people have talked about it a bunch without spoiler tags but still wanted to protect it. But did we already know that was the BAF? I thought maybe it could have been a deluxe figure but apparently not.

If that wave is mostly comic, that will suck for people who want that BAF.

EDIT: He did another video where he said that BAF may be for the Thunderbolts wave but

Spoiler
possible Thunderbolts spoiler

I don't think the character is in Thunderbolts.

And by the way, these videos came out a month ago which shows how much attention I pay the guy, so maybe we knew all this before. But the second one, Rek was saying Cap 4 is getting 3 deluxe movie figures.

Spoiler
Same spoiler as the BAF I mentioned in the previous post
And he isn't sure if Red Hulk is the BAF or one of those deluxe figures. I assume one will be Sam with wings etc, and maybe another is Joaquin as Falcon?

Dan Yun had said more reveals are coming this month, and Deadpool 3 is scheduled for July. I don't even know how things are done anymore but it used to be around this time that movie figures would be revealed/available for preorder, so I'm hoping that wave is shown in the next few weeks. I assume Entertainment Weekly or IO9 will be showing them.

Supposedly they're revealing stuff this weekend, including for the new Deadpool wave. This is from a comment on Marvelousnews, so I have no other details. Wondercon maybe?

@ru1977 Yeah...:/. I had preemptively accepted the fact that we probably weren't getting any reveals but it still sucked to see it play out that way

With no confidence whatsoever and based on zero insider information, I predict we will see some Deadpool 3 figures revealed in May, along with a new trailer for the film.  Maybe a week or so before Memorial Day.

But I'm probably wrong and usually am, so put no stock in that.

And apropos of nothing, but I realized the other day that Deadpool 3 comes out on July 26th, 2024.  Which just happens to be the same weekend as ... The San Diego Comic-Con.

Mmm-Hmm.  So what does that mean?  I haven't the slightest idea.  But I did want to say this:  If you ever get a chance to see a comic book movie, or any genre movie, with the comic con crowd, you really should do it.  The last time we had a comic book film open up the weekend of SDCC was back in 2011 with Captain America: The First Avenger.  A group of us walked down to Horton Plaza to see it.  It was reeeeeeeealy cool.  I hadn't had that much fun at the movies in a long time.  There was a guy cosplaying as the comic book version of Armin Zola and he scared the crap out of a poor girl at the concession stand.  It was great watching that film with the tribe.  There was a lot of love in that theater.

Anyway, carry on and keep a stiff upper lip because there are many, many MCU projects on the way.  Agatha, Captain America 4, Thunderbolts, Fantastic Four, Ironheart, Daredevil Born Again and Blade.  Use this lull as an opportunity to save some money.

Because God knows, you're going to need it.

I actually forgot about wondercon until the panel was almost over so subconsciously,I probably accepted that too.

And a couple of those are probably getting a figure or two!

Sorry, I'm in cynic mode today.

I'm guessing if they show any Deadpool & Wolverine figures in the stream next week, it's because they were revealed elsewhere the day before.

Exactly what I was thinking.  CinemaCon is happening in Las Vegas.

These next few days are going to be interesting.

Just curious: has the villain for this movie been revealed? Spoiler tag if yes, please.

The Deadpool Legacy figure seem to be a hot seller already. Which is not at all surprising. I certainly hope they are making PLENTY.

Not officially, but the leaks and rumors etc point to:

Spoiler
Deadpool & Wolverine supposed villain

Cassandra Nova, played by Emma Corrin.

I think this has been confirmed by actual journalists, via copyright filings, but still not officially announced or revealed. Maybe in the next trailer.

I kept thinking the movie is coming next month but it's July. I shall attempt to be less antsy for another month.
