That's the thing with a lot of these MCU characters: it's real easy to want figures because of who is playing them. I wanted probably a third of the cast of Eternals JUST for the actors before even seeing the movie. That's part of why I had to step back and decide why I really want these figures, heh.
And I'm not saying anyone is wrong to want figures of specific actors.
After seeing Saltburn this weekend I had to pull Druig to the front of the display. π

Just make sure he stays away from Tony Stark and keeps his clothes on. 🤣Β
I caught a showing of it last week and surprisingly liked it, for as messed up as it was at times. I thought to myself afterwards- "Barry Keoghan would be really good in the MCU", and then I looked up his filmography and remembered. Whoops! Hopefully now that he's getting bigger and getting more and more award buzz for a lot of his roles, if and when they ever bring Druig back, he can, you know, actually do something this time.

Wow! That looks awesome! So thatβs legit?ΒThere are a few listed on aliexpress right now, between $40-something and $50-something, depending on if you want it boxed or loose and with all accessories or just the whips.
ALSO, be careful since searching for "whip" on aliexpress may raise some questions for anyone peeking at your screen.
some of them are listed with other figures to choose from, so they reel you in with $30, but that's actually one of the Iron Men.

@joshsquash729 I do that sometimes too. "Man that person would be great to have in the MCU," but usually it's someone who had a bit part in something 15 years ago or even a strong supporting role but I still forgot.
Then there's people like Gemma Chan so whatever. I thought Keoghan was one of the best parts of Eternals* so I'll take more of him in the MCU one way or another.
*Not just because he's Irish.
@akatsuki I would say so. Have you ever ordered from Aliexpress before? I've gotten several things through them, including a few ZD toys.
Search around because they have several Iron Man 3 armors listed, though they'll be a little too big to stand next to any Legends.
@ru1977 Now that you mention it, I did use Aliexpress once a couple of years ago. I went ahead and ordered Whiplash. I have wanted the armor for a long time!
Awesome. I'm still on the fence, but please let us know how it is when it comes.
How safe is AlieExpress?
I'm not really sure what they have as far as buyer protections. Like I said, my only 'negative' experience was a thing that got delayed and came late. I've ordered a few costume items on there and one came a week or so after Halloween, but otherwise I had time to be patient and everything I ordered matched the pictures/listing. They also have a lot of Black Series Clonetrooper listings that are repaints Hasbro hasn't done, so there are some cool finds on there if you look around.Β
According to Wikipedia:
AliExpress (Chinese: ε ¨ηιει) is an online retail service based in China and owned by the Alibaba Group.[1] Launched in 2010,[2][3] it is made up of small businesses in China and other locations, such as Singapore, that offer products to international online buyers. It is the most visited e-commerce website in Russia[4] and was the 10th most popular website in Brazil.[5] It facilitates small businesses to sell to customers all over the world. AliExpress has drawn comparison to eBay, as sellers are independent and use the platform to offer products to buyers.

FWIW I bought a ZD Toys Rescue figure from AliExpress before Hasbro got around to doing the Gwyneth headsculpt and she was a lovely figure. Came in a lovely box.
Yeah, I've never had any issues from them the few times I've ordered. Just keep in mind that a large majority of their stuff is bootleg stuff (not all, though- sometimes they just get items early because someone'll snag it from a factory or whatever the case). Being a bootleg isn't always bad, though- I've gotten a few Black Series Clones through them, and in my opinion, they're often better than the official releases, plus they give new paint schemes to give us Clones Hasbro will probably never give. But I also hear people who buy say, a NECA product from them, and the difference is night and day, and they're far more fragile. If you don't care about subtle differences, or even slight breakage (considering the cost is often far less than the real thing)- if you just keep it on a shelf and don't expect it to fall or anything, it's not a bad place to order from.
But yes, Akatsuki, definitely show us some sweet pics when you get Whippie.Β

It's crazy to me how Hasbro had a perfect Gwyneth Paltrow likeness in the Iron Man 3 set, then put out that awful two-pack likeness afterwards.
Then they couldn't even compete with a knockoff.
