Gah, I want Firebird so bad! Keep after them Beamish, they're bound to get to her sooner or later.
I hope the big push of West Coast Avengers figures in recent years ups her profile with the Hasbro team and gets her made quicker.
For real. We're so close to having a complete (classic) lineup with Ankh'd-up Moon Knight on the way - Firebird, Jim Hammond Torch, Living Lightning. Optional (but I want him) black leotard Thing. Anyone else?
Really, another WCA multipack could finish the team:
Firebird
Hammond Torch
Living Lightning
Thing (black leotard)
Shroud
While I like this idea, I'd prefer to get Firebird in a Rangers 5-pack. So I'd replace her in this with either classic Graviton, or Master Pandemonium.

LOVE IT! Instant purchase!
I'd go in a slightly different route to incorporate The Rangers as well:
WCA Boxset:
-Wonder Man in red and green suit with yellow jetpack
-Thing in Battleworld singlet
-Jim Hammond, powered down in red suit with attachable fire head, effects, etc
-Living Lightning - human form
-Living Lightning - lightning form
-Graviton
Classic Human Torch and Toro 2-pack
Fan Channel Firebird and Red Wolf 2-pack
Phantom Rider and Banshee Legendary Rider set
Fan Channel Texas Twister and Shooting Star 2-pack
Shroud could go in several Retro or BAF waves - street level, supernatural, Avengers, Spidey, Moon Knight, Daredevil
Would absolutely love to expand the WCA universe with the Rangers and some villains.
Master Pandemonium certainly falls into that not-sweet spot of not popular and also expensive to do right, so I can't ever see this happening - but a deluxe set with swappable crazy demon arms would be amazing. If they don't do that, I hope they at least give him his horrible Tommy-Billy baby arms.
The OG Ghost Rider shown here was renamed "Night Rider" when they brought him back for WCA, since by this time Johnny Blaze had taken over the GR name. Apparently "Night Riders" was a moniker used by Klansmen, and the switch to "Phantom Rider" came about when the connection was realized.
Shooting Star kinda has the same vibe as American Dream, and I wouldn't be opposed to that - I always liked that design.
Gee, a white guy, dressed all in white, with a gun and and a rope, and calling himself “Night Rider”… what could possibly be wrong with that? 🤔 😜

Hasbro could put Bonita in both packs. One as Firebird, and the other as La Espirita since her look was subtly different when she used her other alias.
Yeah, and I’ll be holding my breath while Hasbro gets right on that, considering we don’t have a single Ranger yet.
I know sharing between brands doesn’t really happen, but the GIJoe Classifed wolf Timber could be reused for a Red Wolf and Lobo set. RW has such a great look, I’d love to see him in Legends
That image of Red Wolf driving the jeep with Lobo safely strapped into the passenger seat is hilarious to me. Thanks for the Monday morning laugh

In all the years I've come across that image over and over it's never once occurred to me how silly that is. Weird how we can just overlook stuff like that! Red Wolf/Lobo/VAMP release please Hasbro.

I mean, a more generous interpretation would be that it's actually the shadow of the dog's head, the shading of the fur on the front shoulder joint/chest area and the shadow of Red Wolf's arm all merging together in a humorous coincidence - though that would beg the question about why the shadow of the dog's head would cast one direction and the shadow of the arm the opposite direction. so...
Almost as funny is the "Bureau of Indian Affairs" emblazoned on the hood of the jeep which would be convenient for readers viewing from overhead (like us), but helpful and practical for no one else at all and thus an unlikely waste of paint even for the federal government.
Picked up a Dan Ketch set for like 37.50 on sale today at Target.
After some delay and then them mysteriously removing the listing from their site, I just received an email from Deep Discount informing me they have now canceled my preorder for the Crystal/Lockjaw set. It is confounding because I'm pretty sure I was one of the first to preorder.
I just looked around at a few other fan-channel options and I think I'm out. The set is way over priced IMO, and DD's 20%+ discount was the only way I could justify a preorder. I guess I'll wait on the set to go on clearance and if it doesn't, no biggie.
@feces-flinger That sucks, Lucid, I'm sorry. I have yet to ever purchase anything from Deep Discount despite signing up on their website and regularly receiving coupons.
To each their own, and I certainly understand your concern with the value, but I'll just share that for me personally that this 2-pack is easily my favorite offering of the year, definitely for Legends but probably for any line that I collect, and that's despite me already having the Mezco 1:12 version of Lockjaw. There wasn't really anything else this year that came close for me in the line with Goblin Queen, Destiny and Son of Satan being the best of the rest in my opinion. I'm still looking forward to Titania especially and also Beyonder if I receive them before the end of the year, which I fully expect, but they're probably both in the next group down after the others that I mentioned.
I'm expecting that Crystal/Lockjaw will likely still see discounts elsewhere yet before the end of the year.
Update: Later after I posted this I was thrilled to find all of Titania, Beyonder and MCU Civilian Logan w/ Headpool all at Target on sale for $18.74 each. Titania will definitely be in my Top 10 for the year and I'd say it's likely that Beyonder will be towards the bottom of that list as well.

Aaaah, nuts. I actually emailed CS about this earlier in the week, wondering if maybe it was getting canceled since they took the listing down - they gave me a generic "when it gets here" response. Just checked and I got the same cancellation as you. I think this is only the second cancellation I've ever gotten from Deep Discount (Marvel Select Crimson Dynamo was the other), so they're still in my good graces. I'm assuming they might not have gotten any stock of this one, as I also put my order immediately after it went up.
@h-bird I was wondering if your order went through or not. That stinks.
But I agree that DD is still solid. This is the first time I've had this happen with them. They've always been good to me even when I received a defective product.
Despite my seeming very apathetic to the situation, I was actually looking forward to getting Lockjaw so I could modify him to look way more Kirbyesque and alien. Now all that is in limbo.
