I love the look of Odin but I still can't get over that size for him - the figure would be in real life a full foot taller (or more) than classic Thor, who already should be on the tall end - this version is Hulk sized, like well over 7 feet tall. Having said that, he might look good with the Copiel Thor which was also huge.
But happy others are happy with him.
Thor is supposed to be 6' 6" in the comics, and Odin is sometimes depicted as 6' 9" and 700 pounds. So he's definitely supposed to be huge, but this version in the figure is more like 7' 6" to 8' 0". The chonkiness is accurate, the height is exaggerated--but I do believe artists over the decades have depicted him to be this big. I'm sure they had their reference showing him like this, but I'm not entirely sure where they got it from. I'm guessing someone showed him this big in the 1970s, but I'm not really sure.

It's so good to know sometimes that we are not alone in our weird obsessive compulsive habits around this hobby.
I feel like I've spent more time updating my insane person spreadsheet in the 3 years I've been doing it than I have messing with the figures. I do get a weird sort of joy out of updating it. I just use it for tracking preorders, purchases, and sales - I use Legendsverse to document the actual collection.

Understand, as our resident Asgardian aficionado, we patiently await your full review of that chonky bad boy!!
I appreciate the compliment. And while reviews have never been my strong suit, suffice to say I’m mostly very happy with him. The sculpt and paint work are exceptional, and he’s every bit as chonky as I want Odin to be.
The joints are nice and clicky, and he’s more poseable than I was expecting given his mass. And his accessories are great. The paint work on the sword is especially nice.
As for the different headgear, yes, the hair has to be under the shoulder fur to fit. And I far prefer the Kirby headgear mainly because it has hair attached to it in the back. But again, the paint on the horns on the other helmet is very nice. Good detailing all around.
But all that being said, even I admit he’s taller than I think he should be, even though he’s half-Jotunn. I think, personally, he should have been a head shorter, while keeping the mass. But overall I’m extremely happy with him and love having him in my display.

Anyone else having problems with their Odin horns (on the horned head naturally) not matching very well?
Odin and Hulkbuster showed up today. Won't have time to crack them open for a day or so but man, the HEFT on these bad boys! They're massive!

So I check my emails just now and lo and behold, a Pulse email saying they took the money for Odin. W.T. actual F!? I go to my orders again and there he is on the front page. He was not there when I checked the other day. And I know I'm not crazy because I also used their own search order history and typed Odin and it said no results. Used it today, and Odin showed up. At least I was able to cancel my Amazon order.
