He went up on Target about a week ago. He was out of stock at my local store before the page went live, and surrounding stores in my area quickly went out of stock. The nearest figure is now an hour+ drive away, so I'll wait for my BBTS order to convert.

OK... so of the product in the 85th Anniversary packaging  Ghost Rider, and the Cabal 3-pack were delivered while I was in San Diego...  the other stuff had arrived before I left.

Which leaves just Skaar -  still on preorder -  and Warbird,  which I missed on pre-order and have not been able to find in store - as the anniversary figures I don't yet have.     Fingers crossed Warbird gets more findable.

Hasbro Pulse mailed out so many figures at once! It was pretty crazy if you collect multiple Hasbro lines…Super fun, but it’s a lot of figures all at once.

Had a chance to open up Astonishing Wolverine, and he’s awesome! Two great head sculpts. Really nice costume details and articulation. The Astonishing costume is one of my favorites— particularly nice for me because I read Astonishing X-Men back in the day, and this is Wolverine’s look from New Avengers. So this is a double winning look for me. I have a second on order at BBTS, too.

I love this Ghost Rider, but I really felt like his fire hair let him down a bit.  I always prefer GR to be completely engulfed in flame, so I built up the courage to carve out a Dormammu BAF head & for the Fwoosh skeleton skull in there.

While I like a lot about the new Astonishing Wolverine, his head should have more range of motion.  Particularly with looking up, which is needed when he crouches forward.

Just had my Ghost Rider from Pulse delivered.  Will have to open it up tonight or tomorrow.

Looks incredible! The Hasbro team should take some pointers from that.

Also have to echo some sentiments that the Ketch Ghost Rider is slightly undersized. I did see an sdcc interview with the team ( I think it was shartimus). He brought that up. Dwight said he thought the original one was oversized due to using standard parts. And Dwight said Ketch is suppose ti2 5'9". Which yes in human form but in his GR firm he is 6'2".... So Dwight didn't do his complete homework on the character.

But enough if my rambling... Again fantastic job on that modification.

Had a chance to open up the Luke and Iron Fist set. Love these! The era of comics with the New Avengers, Civil War, Mighty Avengers, and Dark Reign is one of my favorites, and we are suddenly getting so many great figures to fill out that era— Extremis Iron Man, Sentry, Warbird Ms. Marvel, Astonishing Wolverine, Iron Patriot, and now modern Luke and Iron Fist! I love it!

Iron Fist and Luke have excellent articulation. Love the extra expressive head sculpts. Is Luke all new? I’m not recognizing any reuse off-hand. He’s big and awesome. Great powerful proportions and articulation at the same time.

This era has sort of shaped up to be my most wanted set of figures after classic (pre-90s ish) versions of most characters! At this point a classic Ms. Marvel would have me equally excited to fit into both a classic Avengers display and a Dark Avengers team.

The good news is we're coming up on the 20-year nostalgia mark for all those books.

Where my interests are concerned, they somehow blew by New X-Men. They're at least committed to making the Astonishing team, though. Coipel Thor isn't far off, either.

Speaking of that era, has there been talk of Ares getting a remake?

I think Dwight has mentioned Ares.

I'm still dragging my feet on opening the extra MCU Ronin I got for the New Avengers display. The box is right over there!

I know they are near and dear to you... but man,  those Morrison/Quietly X-Men looks were the shittiest costumes the X-Men have ever had.   Just straight movie style inspired pleather garbage.   Even the terrible Ultimate X-Men looks were better than those.   I was never happier than when they retired those god-awful costumes and slowly reverted back to more comic booky outfits.

I still want a New X-Men Jean, though. With removable coat. I loved her look and only her look.

As much as I never cared for Cassandra because of how ugly Quitely drew her (and everyone else), anyone wanting a good laugh watch from the 4 minute mark of this interview with Emma Corrin on what Emma was going through when the role was first mentioned.

I picked up Astonishing Wolverine at Target today. My favorite Wolverine for now at least. The only part I would like to see improved is the up and down motion on the double barbell head joints. The 85th anniversary line may be my favorite of the anniversary lines they have been doing. I want almost all of them. Luke Cage and Iron Fist is the only other one I have at the moment but it is freaking awesome. The packaging is even great and I usually don't care about it being an opener. Having a hard time NOT playing with Wolvie. Keep it coming Hasbro!
