Couldn’t agree more, Joel. GR is an excellent display piece.

A couple more random thoughts:

I wish Danny came with an unmasked head.

Luke gives the same vibes as MM from The Boys tv series.

Just have to echo how good this new Cage is out of the box.    I'll admit I was super frustrated when the box set was announced as I already have bald cage in his yellow T-shirt on my shelf.    I don't need a new figure of him in my collection.    And that is still true.   I could have stayed happy with the existing version I already had.

That being said -  this version does exist and it is better in every way than the previous version.   So, at least there's that.   It's a really good figure.

It helps that the Iron Fist is pretty nice as well.

Amazon still has my Ghost Rider set as coming August 20... but I can wait,  I can.

Luke and Danny were just delivered to my house, so I'll be looking forward to cracking them open when I get home. Can't wait to stand Danny with Classic Luke Power Man.

Really wish they had nailed last years Luke Cage to go with this classic Iron Fist. Why nail the incongruous Luke Cage but half fumble the classic Cage? Such is the way of ML

It just means they can take another swing at it in the future and we’ll bite. 😉

True. Already pretty obvious what to do. Give the shirt a little gold glimmer, paint the pants a dark blue and fix the armpit gap. Its just weird that the modernish Cage is maybe the best figure of the 3 but is likely the one I will sell just b/c it doesn't fit my collection focus.

Opened up Danny and Luke and they’re great figures. It’s my first exposure to the RYV body, and it fits Danny perfectly. Instantly stood him beside Classic Luke Power Man.

Luke is a great figure as well, and I eagerly await them using that mold for something I care about. In the meantime, he goes into storage until I can remember who it was that I spoke with here about potentially handing him off. 😀

@normdapito if you're still interested in that 2-pack Luke he's available if you've not gotten him yet. I have no desire for him in that look. Reach out to me at [email protected] or message me on Instagram, I'm @SteelWolfOfficial there.

Having had a week and bit to muck around with Astonishing Wolverine - it's a great figure, but I find myself wishing he had a neutral masked head, articulation at the boots, and was a little less stumpy. Something closer to the originals and  X-Men '97 physique. It's a really good figure, just coulda used a few tweaks.

I really hope we can expect future Wolverine releases for Tiger Stripe and Bown/Tan on the '97 pinless body. using the dated body for the Hellverine release just doesn't make sense. It would have been a second head and a removable claw fire accessory away from being a must-buy figure if it used the '97 updated body.

At 2 Targets today I saw some Wolverines on an end cap. Turns out they were all the hot claws version. A strange pick if he was a whole new run.

I'm going out of my mind because a bunch of locals have been posting that they found Warbirds at their Targets AND they were allowed to buy them.  I was hoping to drive to every Target on Sunday until I found them, but it seems like they'll be sold out by then.

My Target has four Hot Claws Wolvies on a peg. Such a weak figure.

I also saw hot claws Wolverine at target. Weird that they've apparently done another run of just that figure

Well... it's his 50th Anniversary and he's got a movie coming out this summer.   He's kind of a big deal  🤣

@popoman If they'd swapped the claws for regular ones and matched the should pad color to the other blues, this would be flying off the shelves for a reissue 🙂
