CMDstore I am almost 100% percent, also has an ebay store but sometimes there is a price hike so YMMV. Their user id is ddmark https://www.ebay.com/str/ddmark

Are the Astonishing Wolverine and Superior Spidey supposed to hit any kind of brick and mortar locations?  BBTS sold out of Wolverine while I'm waiting on Amazon (that I'm assuming could be lost but Amazon has apparently decimated all the POs in MN due to volume but I want to hedge my bets).  EE has a later estimated release in October but I'm tired of their ridiculous shipping costs, as well as handling and delivery times to send me a package a decade later that is only a few hours in actual travel distance.  Love watching Pitney Bowes invent time travel to the past to ensure my delivery takes the longest ever when EE charged me more than the figure to ship!

Saw that on GS.  I may hit up that location tomorrow so I'll see if I can preorder in store.

Edit:

Astonishing Wolverine back on Amazon.  Get 'em before PigglyToyville buys them all!

Received Iron Fist and Cage today. Don't really care about this version of Cage, but I'm just happy I can get the two classic looks together.

Nice work on his legs.  That was something I planned on doing.  Is that just a heavy dry brush?

Thanks! Yep, you nailed it. Used Citadel Macragge

Holy……that Rogue and Destiny set screams MAXIMUM CHARGE!!!………minimal value………

So, I see people saying this, and sure the accessory count is very light -  but "MAXIMUM CHARGE" - really?  Are we forgetting just two years ago when sites were upcharging by one, two, even five dollars per figure for their store exclusives with no added value?    This is a two pack of figures selling for the same price that two single packed figures on retro cards, without a baf piece would sell for.

Could they have tossed in a few extra pieces to boost the value up, of course.  But I'm guessing they knew they didn't have to for as thirsty as people are to complete their BoEM team.

And in terms of Minimal Value - you know what they could have done?   Packed Destiny in two pack with Avalanche with the A overlay glued to his chest.   Forced you to buy the same figure you can find at Ross for $6 with one glued on extra to get the figure they've been holding back.    So yeah,  it could get even worse from a value perspective, I promise.

I was just thinking that the other day.  At least they are TWO novel figures and not another coveted figure packed with a redeccoed reissue of a character of which we already have numerous iterations.

That shiz drives me bananas.

Even the new Iron Fist and Luke Cage two pack which I received the other day is an awesome set. Despite me having ZERO interest in having a modern Luke Cage in my collection, the figure is well-engineered and aesthetically on point.  No buyer's regret whatsoever.

Has it been observed yet that Rogue probably has a solid torso like HoX Marvel Girl and ‘97 Jean Grey? I don’t see a diaphragm pivot. All new sculpt, but loss of articulation.

They said she rotates at the pelvis under the overlay during their broadcast.  Destiny I think is more or less a glorified 5poa figure like Astonishing Emma Frost (and that busted alcoholic Sabrina Carpenter looking face).  Yes, I know it's accurate to the artwork, but I've never been happier to replace that figure's head w/ one of the Shield 3pk Sharon Carters.

As for the Rogue/Destiny 2pk choices, I'd have preferred Destiny and a PROPERLY done Avalanche.  I can tolerate a "present and accounted for" Destiny since she was dead during most of the comic reading years, but Avalanche didn't deserve the lack of effort he got.

Don't be too surprised if we get Destiny reuse for whatever that Imperial Guardswoman with the cape is.  Manta I think.

@panthercult I should have put “To me,” in the beginning. It’s just my opinion.  I’m not interested in what they could have done to make it worse, only what I see in front of me right now When they started charging more for retros with no bafs, I scaled back a lot on collecting ML. They actually should have put more accessories in this two pack IMO. Lots of empty negative space.  Maybe Jada toys has jaded me with their offerings. I don’t know.

As for other sites charging much more for their exclusives years ago, I don’t know or remember. If it was ML stuff, I was already not buying much due to lack of value so there’s a chance I never bought any of it.

All of that is fine.   And you don't have to think any of this is a good value.  You are absolutely allowed to think this is terrible bang for your buck.

I was just pointing out that for Marvel Legends at this stage in the game this pack doesn't qualify as either "maximum charge" because they have in fact charged more for the same or less product wise,   nor does it qualify as "minimum value"  because they have provided even less value for the same money in certain offerings.

I don't say these things to defend Hasbro's choices.   I wish they had included more accessories in this set.   I don't say this to suggest your opinion on the value is bad or wrong.    Just that definitionally it isn't as bad as it has been or as bad as it can get.

Understood. My wording really was meant to be for humor so I apologize if it came across a being meant as hard facts.
