Yeah, I initially balked at the price tag, but...POed without regret.

Based on the size, sculpting, paintwork, and accessories, $59.99 for Odin seems appropriate to me.

Yeah... was wondering where people got the $50 number since it opened at $60 at both Amazon and Pulse.

I will say -  $50 seemed like a decent price for a beefy figure.   $60 feels like ALOT.   More than the cost of two indivdual legends figures?    Sigh.

Yep, figures of similar size and quality from other brands are much more, and I don't think twice about their pricing. Had to remind myself of that when I first saw this listing price.

It was posted a couple of places as being $50 (news sites/accounts, not retailers). I think $60 was the prevailing speculation and that seemed right to me, so the lower price was a nice (false) surprise. I still think he looks regal as hell and $60 isn't a bad price, especially compared to similar products from others.

I'd pay double that if it came with a guarantee of getting the Warriors Three, Heimdall, and Balder down the line. C'mon Hasbro!

It's "Blob isn't worth $55.99!" part two.  🥂

It's a hefty price tag, but this is a hefty figure as well. All new sculpting and a good amount of accessories. I think $50 would have felt a lot better, but this doesn't seem too off the mark. Seems like a better value than Blob.

I agree about the comparisons to Blob. I think this one may wind up just as scarce if people are already balking at the price. I POed because that’s what I do.

Oh...I definitely pre-ordered it at the $60 price.    It just felt a little hefty -  that's nearly the cost of two and a half regular figures.     But if there is limited reuse potential,  that cost is being passed on to us -  just like with Blob.   And I do NOT regret paying the retail asking price for Blob at all.

I didn't realize Blob had become hard to find. (I just preordered him way back when thinking I'd only ever buy one Blob figure and didn't have it in me to play the waiting game that particular time). I'm pre-ordering Odin even though he feels a little expensive cos I know he's one I'll be kicking myself if I miss and life around his release date is gonna be hectic so I don't want to screw it up. Now I'm wondering if I should go back and preorder Skaar since I AM playing the waiting game on him.

Skaar is only $40, which struck me as a good price for a big figure.

I did pre order Odin today as well.  I was surprised by the $60 price tag but honestly between the size, all the intricate details and paint apps, and all the accessories it doesn't seem far off.

This is one of the coolest looking deluxe figures Hasbro has ever done.  It honestly even kind of reminds me of the 4 Horsemens Mythic Legion line.   I wouldn't be surprised to see this figure standing in amongst some Mythic Legions displays.

I don't know if I would call this paint job intricate. Sure, his loincloth and belt have painted details. Almost everything else is either a painted tip or a sword jewel or cast plastic. Ikaris had a similar amount of paint detail for $25.

This is a hard pass at $60. No frickin' way, Hasbro. That's a hefty figure two-pack price - and I've already got these ravens. Hulkbuster is also a pass at that price.
