There’s so much coming out recently. Not sure if I’ll pull the trigger on Skaar right away.

Man, we need to see some MCU movies to ease all these comic figures…never thought I’d say that, but my wallet needs it lol

also, are Skaar’s parts all new?

I'll be passing on Skaar. I'm not much of a Hulk fan, so having the classic Hulk, She-Hulk, Leader, and (hopefully someday) classic Doc Samson will do it for me. Nobody else necessary.

😮 Not even if they did a classic 70s/80s Abomination?

Not a massive Hulk guy either but would take updated classic Bronze Age versions of Doc Sampson, Wendigo & Abomination. Would take UFoes, ZZzax, BiBeast, Thunderbolt Ross & FA "onesie" She Hulk. The other She Hulks I want I don't consider Hulk characters and wouldn't go on my Hulk shelf anyway. FF & pencil skirt lawyer Jen go on FF and street level DD shelf. I'd prob buy a Harpy too.

Honestly I’m okay with the one we have already.

Yeah, with so much coming out so fast, hard to justify 40 bucks for a figure who isn't a mainstay. If he were cheaper, or a BAF in a wave, I wouldn't hesitate. Wondering if he'll be someone who pops up in a Pulse sale later on. Trying to be marginally smarter about my purchases these days.

I grabbed two of Skaar. One for Hulk shelf and one for the Dark Avengers/Thunderbolts shelf.

I still have the Toy Biz one up, cause all the ones that Hasbro has made, aren't up to my standards. I prefer the classic, taller, TWO-Toed look. The Hasbro ones are all too short, and the toes are weirdly proportioned.

I don't think they're ALL new. He wouldn't have pegs in his knee joints if he were all new. Those legs at least are reused.

TB Abomination is still my version up on the shelf too. Cool figure except for the ball joint hips.

Skaar is really looking great - I can't wait to get him in hand. I'm really glad (and honestly a little surprised) that classic Hulk, Amadeus Cho/Totally Awesome Hulk, and Skaar have different parts between them. That diversity in the silhouettes tells a story about their different respective Hulknesses that actually matters (to me at least).

Skaar looks awesome. The price is lower than I expected, too. He was an immediate preorder for me.

Don’t get me wrong, if they showed off an upcoming Abomination that was more 70s/80s in appearance and sculpt, I’m sure I’d fall prey to the “Ooo…shiny!” and pick him up. I’m an easy mark.

Abomination needs to be bigger than Hulk, that's how he's described in the comics.

The Gamerverse Abomination is scaled pretty decently for Hulk. With a classic head and a resculpt of the legs, he’s my default. But an official Hasbro take would be good.

(I’ll do a pic when I can figure out the new posting modes here)
