There was a time when I was very excited to get that sentinel ... Actually, I just looked it up and Water Wars was a pretty great wave overall, with good versions of Storm, Nightcrawler and Iceman.

Almost as good as the Monster Armor wave.

Oh man, I still remember that feeling when Toy Biz 5" figures started getting GOOD. I liked those initial early waves, but when those gimmick figures started coming in, the sculpts and even articulation started improving too. Water Wars, Monster Armor, Secret Weapons. Lots of those were precursors to the 6" experimentations in the Avengers, Silver Surfer lines, and then the first appearance box sets. Isn't there a Toy Biz thread somewhere here? I could go on a massive tangent recalling the love for some of those figures.

The Flying Fighters wave was going to be such a victory for us Jean Grey fans but then turned into such a a crushing defeat upon her cancellation. I still want that prototype. 🙂 I know, I should get over it.

But I do want that Bishop outfit in ML.

Yeah those Toy Biz waves were great. Classic Beetle with that Monster Armor was really nice.

Remember the Vault wave with Ultron, Stegron, and Typhoid Mary? That was another killer wave!

The Vault was one of my favorite waves. 😀

I didn’t have Stegron, but I did have Mary and I totally subbed that Ultron into my ML proper collection instead of the much derided “Bunny Ears” version.

There was a con a few years ago that had a bunch of arcade Sentinel customers as part of a big Legends display. I can’t find pics but I think they were on the old Neo-Classical Iron Mam body.

Wouldn’t be surprised if these are on the new one we just got in the Retro Iron Man wave.

The Cabal set was just revealed and it's a 3-pack of Doom, Taskmaster, and Normal Osborn as Iron Patriot.

Doom looks amazing.

Taskmaster looks fantastic.

Iron Patriot looks cheap.

Good looking set.

I think the Toybiz Taskmaster head is still the best one but this is a definite improvement over their last one which looked odd with the darker colored skull and white teeth

Great figures - trying to figure out how much of Iron Patriot is re-use. I think there is some MCU Mk 3 in there - am I wrong?

Is Doom total re-use?

I'm excited for this set. Have a few great Taskmasters now.

Doom's cape is cloth and he has the Doombot head.  Everything else looks the same to my eyes so far, but I'm sure I'm overlooking some other changes.

I'd get it, and use the Iron Patriot as an army builder, like the did, in the comics, a while back.

Love what I'm seeing here. Definitely in, and will buy extras when Amazon inevitably discounts it.

Now that everything has been revealed, officially or by leaks, I find it interesting that:

-They didn't actually span 85 years, which they could have easily done by offering something 1930's-1940's: Human Torch, Toro, Cap, Bucky, Miss America, Whizzer, Namor, etc.

-There isn't at least one never-been-made-before character.

-There's only one female character, and she's an exclusive.
