How many different Hulkbuster armors has Tony had in the comics? Is there such a thing as a War Machine Hulkbuster suit?
This specific look is the Model 31 from around the time of Civil War (it doesn't actually look like that in the comics; it's based on how Adi Granov painted it on the cover).
There's also another, larger version that he uses later during World War Hulk, as well as one he has in Original Sin too.
I don't believe Rhodey has ever had his own Hulkbuster, though, funny enough, Black Panther does. I'd actually like a figure of it someday, since it's actually a cool as hell design.
Hulkbuster looks good but I'm not sure if it's worth it for me. I've always got the Marvel Select one and this is based on the same design. Advantages here are better articulation, Tony stark head, and more hand options. Always hated that open hand on the MS version.

Much as I love the 90s version, I was kinda hoping it would be Granov. Looks fantastic and I can’t wait!!
The Hulkbuster looks 90% great and I'll definitely be picking it up. But why oh why can't they integrate the torso articulation into these Iron Man armors better? The straight waist cut looks awful, especially when there are seams right there on the torso that could hide a joint.
So we know Odin is figure #8 for the 85th, do we know what 9 and 10 are?

The original Hulkbuster Armor is a set of additional armor pieces for the Modular Armor from the 1990s.
Then during the Extremis arc, Iron Man could control all of his suits remotely as drones. He developed a set of specialty suits he called the Argonauts, and one of the most powerful and the final boss fight suit was the corrupted Hulkbuster Armor 2, which is this figure.
Tony developed a third Hulkbuster Armor for World War Hulk which had S.P.I.N. Tech darts, super-power inhibiting nanites. But it was sabotaged before his fight with Hulk.
Tony did wear a Hulkbuster War Machine Armor to fight Captain Marvel at the end of Civil War 2. Beautiful artwork for what was rather an annoying story. Tony and Carol usually have the same perspective about things. So making making them fight was frustrating to see from a long time fan point of view.
While wearing the Shape Changing Armor, Tony did morph into the MCU Hulkbuster armor a couple of times in the comics as well. To confront Chitauri and to confront Dr. Doom.
I think the Hulkbuster 2 reveal looks amazing! The figure looks super impressive and fun. Definitely a must-have for me, for multiples.
This is the Adi Granov version from the Extremis Arc, which means this is the corrupted drone Hulkbuster Armor that fought the Avengers and nearly killed Captain America before Tony saved him. same suit that Marvel Select made.
Personally, I would have loved to see a new figure of the original Hulkbuster Armor from the 1990s, too. But again, this figure looks fantastic and very comic accurate for the armor they were going for.
@akatsuki is the 90s armor the one that Toybiz made in marvel legends? I think I would have preferred that just for the sake of variety.

Definitely thinking this is Rachel with a raptor and not Jean considering we just got a Dark Phoenix repaint last year - but who knows? Could be Jean in green or white, hell it could be a Phoenix Five 5-pack. Hoping for Rachel along with some Excalibur accessories though (Widget!).
