Damnit! They did get me to sign up for this fig and I want it now!

Histrionics aside, my understanding is that I must wait 10 weeks into my annual sub before receipt of Richard. Anyone know how true that is? I’d like to know when I can expect my gummy, bowlegged, and briefly-accurate Warriors Nova…

Slightly more annoyed that the Justice coming out doesn't go with the original team that this red Nova is from.

Yeah, it’s interesting that they went with the Heroes Reborn look for Justice right after we got the HR Iron Man. Wonder if this is an indication that more HR Avengers are coming soon.

Hopefully we can complete the New Warriors’ core team sooner rather than later.

I think the costume they put this Justice in is his more post-Civil War/Initiative look. His HR costume looks basically just like Vance Astro/Major Victory’s with different headgear and a cape (and star on his chest). THAT’s the Justice I’m waiting for.

I honestly couldn't remember, so I looked at the Busiek Perez run- Looks like he showed up in what I think is the Legends costume a handful of issues into the HR run. Not to totally derail, but this also makes me want a Triathlon (I know I'm in the minority there).

I remembered his HR and Initiative looks being identical, but it does look like (at least initially) it was closer to what Thor-El describes. Thanks for posting the pic though, it looks like it evolved a bit after a few issues. I'm happy for it to work for both eras! Still need a classic Marvel Boy though.

And you definitely aren't *totally* alone in wanting Triathlon! I'd love to get him and Silverclaw both as the Busiek/Perez series was the first Avengers run I read in real-time, and I remember it very fondly.

Put me in the Mark Bagley Marvel Boy camp. Hopefully, with two headsculpts. One, full head mask. One, hair out.

I'd love Triathlon, though I prefer his second costume over his first. And I'll take Silverclaw as well.

Same on both counts!

With a Marvel Unlimited account, do the comic issues ever go away? Or once an issue is available on Marvel Unlimited it's permanently available?

I suppose some could go away in theory, though it would almost certainly be a licensed character they no longer have rights to such as Conan. But for things like Savage Avengers, which he was a member of, they never put those issues up on the app at all, so they won't have to remove them now that they've lost the license.

And of course, you only have access to them while you are paying for the subscription, but I don't think that's what you were asking.

I don't know if I got this early or got this way late, but my Marvel Unlimited bundle showed up today. Nova is hilariously low effort. No chest emblem, painted on gauntlets, the star on his helmet is glued on crooked... And yet, I dig him. He does look like closet cosplay Nova at comic con though.

I don’t think Nova had a chest emblem while wearing the red suit. At least not like the normal Nova Corps ranks.

Goofy question: I was doing a ton of rearranging my collection tonight and finally got around to pulling out all the New Warriors even if they weren't in the right costume (looking at you, VANCE) and wondering: does this goofy, DIY Nova work as a NEW Warriors Richard? I kinda think he does but I'm not 100% sure. I guess If the Vance and Namorita we got last year work for now, so does this. Which means I've got a very sloppy version of the original six. I'd still love proper versions of everyone, but I know the 90s New Warriors aren't high priority and if I can just get the gang on the shelf I'll be happy for now.
