More armored characters? More big comic characters? Annihilus in general, but also maybe with alternate wing pieces? Great news all around! Thanks for sharing msword!

If I recall correctly, the original Annihilus was a small insect inside an artificial body, but I could be wrong. Not sure which Annihilus we are on at this point in the comics.

Are you mixing him up with Psycho-Man?  He's a microscopic being inside of a big suit who appeared around the same time (Psycho-Man in FF Annual #5 in 1967, Annihilus in Annual #6 in 1968).  Annihilus is wearing a suit, but I've never heard of him being small inside of it.  He's insect-like, but a big one with humanoid arms and legs, i.e. he walks upright and only has four appendages unlike most Earth insects that have six or more.

Here's a pic of him without armor:

I think at one point, wasn't Annihilus just a bunch of sentient bugs, in the armor, too. Like Just recently.

@normdapito Totally agree. So classic in every way. Cant wait to get Sue to join the Fantastic Three (reallly hoping MS changes course and makes a new Thing).

We can't make a new Thing, sorry. But the old one looks good with the full team.

Ok, I give in and will order the old Thing to complete my team. 🙂 Glad to see you back on Fwoosh- thanks as always for taking the time to interact with us!

@jecclr2003 $30 shipped or trade? Is that fair?

@normdapito

Since there isnt a trade forum yet and there doesnt seem to be a functioning PM system, friend request me on Facebook and we can work something out.

Just look up the name Jason Christner (profile pic is myself, wife with a orange cat taking the selfie) or my art page Art of Jason Christner.

MSWord's comments on the upcoming Captain America figure reminded me of some recent discussion in the Annoyances & Inaccuracies thread. A few people were talking about how they hate the scalemail on Hasbro's Green Goblin figures because the texture is a lot more subtle in the comics. What I took away from that is what they'd prefer to see on Green Goblin is exactly what DST has done with Cap. With that in mind, I bet there are quite a few people who have the same feeling when it comes to classic Cap figures and will really be into this one for its approach.

The time has really come for a classic Select Iron Man. Hopefully better executed than their classic Capt Americas

No plans for a classic Iron Man, although we are working on a few more armored characters.

Here's hoping for a classic Iron Monger!

And as always, a Death's Head from y'all would be fantastic:

That's a shame. The classic Thor, Hawkeye, Vision, Black Panther, etc  are calling out for a Gene Colan / John Buscema looking classic Iron Man.

I've done the opposite of most people and have tried to fudge a few Marvel Legends into my Select collection and they really stick out like a sore thumb. MODOK comes to mind—the figure scales excellently and it boasts a unique sculpt, but the unpainted, pearl-gold plastic on it looks incredibly out of place next to the nice metallic finishes on figures in my collection like Marvel Select Silver Centurion. I still keep MODOK with my Selects since I have nowhere else to put it that would make sense, but I'll occasionally notice how much it stands out and cringe.

If you don't care about MODOK arm and leg articulation, we're putting out a very cool Marvel Gallery Diorama of him. Not 100% sure of the height, but with the jet blast it's going to be bigger than most Select figures, and he's another guy whose size varies greatly.

This would be a great execution for something like the Kree Supreme Intelligence. Just sayin'!
